Good to see a young person buying their meat like this. Growing up we always bought our beef & pork from a farmer and had it butchered, we raised our own chicken's and we always kept a cow so we had milk and we'd make our own butter. So there was little we bought from the store. You really got a lot of meat there and you can do so much with what you have, it really looks good too. And the bearded butchers are awesome, just love watching them.
Congrats, we have purchased our beef locally for years in bulk and raised 2 meat pigs this year, no comparison with store bought meat, you made the right choice!!
265 lbs of hanging weight = $1590 $1590÷188 lbs= $8.45 per lbs. Why do people always say $6 per pound when actually it's $8.45 per lb.? Not knocking getting a delicious beef, just saying.
I know it seems like there’s always more cost to it than what they say in these videos. I think they forget that. Yes you pay the farmer for the hanging weight, but then you pay the butcher for the processing fees. I don’t know if they forget to add in the processing fees or what, but it always comes out to more than what they usually say in these videos.

How long did this half cow lasted you, since it has been a year?
We’re at the 17 month mark right now and we’ve eaten everything except all of the ground beef.
Any update on the chuck roasts?
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to figure out why I received less than expected.

Were the organ meats an extra cost ?
No they were included. But definitely specify you want them because they will not assume you do.
