- This is a short unboxing video to introduce you to the new GE stand mixer I found on Amazon! This is a 5.3 quart planetary-style stand mixer just the the Kitchenaid Artisan, it has 7 speeds, and comes with a pouring shield, flat beater, dough hook, and whip. It has a hub on the front that can accept Kitchenaid attachments - a cool little plus! I find this mixer to be extremely similar to the Breville Bakery Boss mixer.
Here it is on Amazon: www.amazon.com/dp/B09CV8WM2R?...
I am using a Panasonic HC-X2000 with a Senal MC5-MS Stereo Mic - for those who are curious.
Thanks for watching - look forward to possibly more videos in the future as I explore more machines, whether in the kitchen, or beyond!
Note: at the end of the video I say: "This is your kitchenaid stand mixer" .. of course I meant to say "General Electric stand mixer" - but you can probably figure that out.
"You know, I used to edit videos back in the days of transferring MiniDV tapes to the computer with firewire cables" . . . Maybe I should start doing that again? Ha!
I want to thank my friend Amy over at @AmyLearnsToCook for keeping me interested in kitchen goodies, especially stand mixers - Thanks Amy! - Наука та технологія
Glad to see you back! Love the combo of your voice and knowledge! Hope you do some recipes with it and let us know how that compared as well!
I've been subscribed for a few years. So glad you're still at it!
Great job. Calming voice! Just purchased one of these and waiting for it to arrive. Was starting to have buyer's remorse that I should have gotten a KitchenAid but this video helped me stop worrying. I had ŕead so many bad reviews about the KitchenAid dough hook chipping paint into dough that it was enough to make me decide against it. And I got this on-sale Cyber Week sale so hopefully I have saved money and not wasted just on brand recognition; KitchenAid obviously being most well known mixer. Thank you for your time. Hope you are successful if you continue with your UA-cam venture
I want this mixer so bad!! I saw it on Amazon a few weeks ago. LOL I showed Amy because i thought she would be interested.
Ooo lookie who's makin youtube vidjas again!
It’s like a mix with the kitchenaid artisan and the breville bakery boss
Awesome.. I was waiting for another review of stand mixers from you for ages... Any thoughts on bosch one?
Hello Zachary. Thank you for these mixer reviews. I was wondering your thoughts on another Amazon mixer. It’s called “Cooklee Stand Mixer, 9.5 Qt., 660w 10-Speed Electric Mixer. I started following because of your review of mixers. Hopefully you can get more followers. Good luck. Thank you again for doing the reviews.
Hi Zach. I came across your Kitchenaid video just now. I have a K5SS 325 watt I inherited from my parents. My dad used it frequently for making pizza dough so it’s pretty sentimental to me. However it has never been serviced. It’s still fully operational. Do you think anything should be done with it before I put it back into daily use?
Thank you for reviewing this GE mixer. Would it be possible to give the measurements? It looks a bit bulky on top, how wide is it on the top? Thanks.
I was wondering if you’re planning on showing it in action? Long term thoughts??
Could the wire beater from kitchen aid work on the GE stand mixer
Could you make a video on tearing down/replaceable worn parts of the kitchenaid proline 7 please? Only because there’s not a lot of videos of it. Thank you for reading.
Thanks for watching! The Proline 7 uses a modular gearbox attached directly to a DC motor - literally no common wear parts or user serviceable parts - if something breaks you replace the entire motor/gearbox part - I am not aware of this being an issue though, so enjoy that machine.
Can you use kitchenaid paddle on this one???
and after a year , is it still working without any problem?
Can one adjust the beater clearance to reach the bottom of the bowl?
Yes, there is a large screw that is visible when the machine is tilted up that can be adjusted just like the Kitchenaid.
Hi @@ZacharyCrowe I watched your Kitchenaid comparison video and heard that you refurbish them. Do you have an account or website you sell them on. If so id be interested in purchasing from you.
