Alfred, that boat that drifted around backwards at the dock. You have got to show that lady in the boat pulling on the bow line to keep the bow from hitting. That is hilarious!

I’m surprised the launch has the smooth surface, and with that more vehicles don’t have trouble with traction. Our launch in San Diego Bay has larger grip strips on the surface. Although we have a larger tide swing, and some times, at very low tide we’ll have 10’ of slime covered launch. My vehicle has AWD and I’ve never had an issue. But, I’ve seen 2WD pickups break loose, but still make it up the ramp.

DANIEL!!!! Bro...I LOVE the no comment editions for a relaxing early morning coffee watching...but...you MUST get better at your camera work. Watch Alfred's work for example. A couple things I can suggest from watching Alfred; 1) When following a potential chitshow, stay with it till the end. Sometimes you wonder off the subject while the potential chitshow is still in progress. 2) When nothing exciting is going on move your zoom-ins around between periods of wide angle shots.
It’s called. Chit Shoow for a reason. Alfred, you need to to offer a docking class, a knot class and a etiquette class.

Yeah, I have a lifted Silverado with wide tires and you have to be careful on a wet road let alone on a slimy ramp. Need skinny, knobby tires just like in the snow.

I said this somewhere else (sorry Alfred). Jeeps are NOT tow vehicles! It even says that in their specs. Maybe a murder hornet, but nothing more. This Jeep is way overmatched with the boat. The boat and trailer weigh exponentially more than the jeep. Hey! I tuned in to see the babes since this is a bachelor edition. Where are they? Kudos Alfred!

You hardly see people power the boat onto the trailer. Is there a rule prohibiting power loading the boat at Black Point? I don't understand otherwise. You should be able to put your trailer wheels slightly under water and drive the boat on.

I have a Jeep, bought a small boat...was planning on pulling it, then i did my research. Bought a truck with 4x4. Its not worth the risk.

Jeep tow capacity is only 3000 lbs. M/T tires and pulling a fiberglass boat on a twin axle trailer is just asking for trouble.

If I was the dock master there I wouldn't let anyone block the ramp like they're doing. You drop off whoever to get the trailer then back off the dock and wait in the water

Alfred it was so frustrating watching that Jeep as a Jeeper myself. That was definitely a pavement princess. There is no way he had that in 4 Wheel drive!...I have a 21 foot pontoon in Upstate NY and I pull it out in 2 wheel mostly pending ramp. If need and you know what you doing...throw it in 4 Wheel low and if there is traction aint nothin stoppin ya!

Old trick it used to work If one tire spins you hold parking/emergency brake release n apply enough parking/emergency brake to switch from spinning tire to other side once switches to other side release brake

There's two things I don't understand about Floridian boat owners. They don't have 4x4 trucks to handle slippery boat ramps. Jeep dude could have just used low range and just crawled up the ramp. Most folks don't wear life jackets either, even at Haulover and Jupiter where even I'd wear one and I'm a very strong swimmer. I don't even see kids wearing life jackets most of the time.

Why don't more people power load? It's so much easier than backing in deep and trying to float the boat into the right position! We don't see it much at Black point for some reason.
All those ramps are way way too steep and that red Jeep can't get real good grip on that steepness

The jeep isn't in 4wd cause the front wheels wouldn't let the rear wheels spin
The jeep was in 4high so that just transfers power from wheels that grip to wheels that slip. If he had just dropped it in 4lo it would have come right out. Locking diffs would have done him some good too but it looks like he's more interested in looking like a jeep than acting like a jeep. All the pretty in the world won't help you get unstuck.

Oh my God Quaaludes I remember back in the 60s and 70s all these stupid drugs reds downers whites but I always thought marijuana was not that bad and if you wanted to experiment with other things that to me was dumb all my friends are gone from cigarettes from alcohol all those stupid heavy drugs and I thank God that he gave me enough sense to stay away from all that heavy stuff and don't let it get ahold of you that's why there's all these homeless people screwed up because they let them drugs control them I'm just saying God bless
