- Video: Noel Gallagher takes fan questions and plays two songs solo (on electric guitar) at King's Head pub in Santa Monica, CA. This was billed as "Breakfast With Oasis" and broadcast on the FM radio-station KROQ. Note: The audio for the 2 song performances ("Live Forever" and "Slide Away") is a bit distorted/clipping due to volume. The circulating audio source sounded similar.
VHS/Cam-Audio - Patched a couple spots w/ audio on the camera source w/ the audio recording that is in circulation. Thanks to Johnky for sharing that audio source w/ me.
High as a kite, yet still delivers perfectly in wit and music.

During 97/98 they went pomp with the stage, and started writing songs that were too long (Be Here Now album). I prefer when it was mainly all good 94/96.

If you'll notice, one of Noel's two main axes for the Be Here Now Tour are #1 the Epiphone Nashville Sheraton he played @ Knebworth, & #2 a Gibson Les Paul w/a silver metallic-flaked paint job, & a single "f-hole" cut into the body. (But in case you're still wondering, those holes that are on either side of Noel's Epiphone 'Union Jack' Nashville Sheraton, or his red ES-335, or just abt anything Bonehead played... Those are commonly referred to as "f-holes" by anyone who plays &/or has knowledge of the guitar. Hope that helps!)

Yes, amazing footage of a long-gone era, damn I wish it was the 90's again...
this is a couple of days after their concert in San Francisco! me and my brother saw them live in SF (1-26-1998) and the show was BIBLICAL. massive sounds and people actually got really hiiiiggh! no cellphones or even cameras during that time and you really have to focus on the show and enjoy the moment. great times!
I saw them just before that in October of 97. I was 14, my first concert actually...and it was a really, really good show. The Fun Loving Criminals and SpaceHog opened.
So was Liam singing at this point on the tour or was it Noel?

When I bought their first album Def Maybe back in 94. I knew right away that I would be listening to their music for a long time. I'm glad that the Gallagher bros are still active in music. More power to them!

Poor audio probably, but what strikes me is Noel is a much better singer now. It sucks that he & Liam are estranged, but I am grateful for the music from both their solo careers. It seems they had to be apart to grow. Maybe one day soon it will all come full circle

An original concept. Love or loathe Oasis, they are still class. Noel and Liam are so prolific at what they do - they seem to possess a head full of ideas for songs that is endless between them. Incredible. I enjoyed the chat, but I couldn’t listen to the music. The audio was dreadful. Was it recorded on an early mobile phone (before they were called a device)?

He was involved in music too, I met him at a show in Vancouver BC in 2000, he was friends with an LA band called Sumac that opened for the British band Gomez for the west coast leg of the tour. It was the last date of the tour, and after the show we all partied at Ryan Reynolds apartment! (RR was not super famous yet, but was on that shit sitcom he did)

I just checked, and unfortunately like the other re-uploads of it (and my 2007 Vegoose 3-Cam) it's been blocked by a new (c) policy by Daft Punk or their label. I could check and see if it's just one song, or all of them later. If it's one song someone may have set a default policy by mistake and perhaps they would change it back (to allowing monetizing vs blocking). However, they may also be planning on doing an official release or think it affects sales and just want them off UA-cam. At least they didn't strike me :) - sorry. Excellent find. I can't say I'm a huge fan of the electric solo set though, doesn't really work. Rubbish PA system doesn't help either.
It's actually super ironic at the end he's talking about being super happy and how he doesn't need to write anything about his personal life. But then Oasis' next album would be their deepest/saddest and most personal album.
The next band was like a brand new band even Liam and Noel’s attitude changed, should’ve stopped in the 90s but in a way they did as they didn’t quite have that edge in the 00s
