I have lived in nearly all of the big Midwest cities. For the past 7 years I have been in Cincinnati, and can't imagine moving from here. Life is so much better here than in those more expensive places. Look forward to buying a small home within the next year or so.
I'm starting a job in Hebron KY on August 3rd. I have 3 years paid on my prior lease, and I've lived out here for a while on Airbnb. Can you recommend any landlords or rental agencies you may have either worked with or come into contact with.
Rental market is hot just like the buying/selling market. I don't have a specific agency to recommend. However, beyond looking at Zillow for rentals, a lot of people post on Facebook Marketplace.
Hi how are you I’m thinking about moving to Cincinnati however my concern about job in my field. I’m a Social worker, and I have been searching for SW job opportunities but I haven’t had any luck yet. Do you have any advice for me?
Are we talking about the same cincinnati? This city is the best when it comes to career growth in the blue collar and white collar fields. I’ve consistently increased my from 4-8 percent each year
Actually in Kentucky there are a lot of great views of the city. Also, rental value can go a bit farther if you don't have upwards of $1,000 a month for rent. I was pleasantly surprised by what I managed to find across the river. Good quality and value for about $700 to $800 a month.
Property taxes are not cheap, and Ohio does have a state income tax(most states do) however, I moved to Florida 10 months ago from Cleveland, even without a state income tax and lower property tax Florida is a more expensive place to live
States have other ways to tax you. Tennessee is a no state income tax state but they’ll nail you with the high sales tax and other loopholes. That and for example, Nashville has overpriced rip off real estate prices now. No thank you.
@@boogitybear2283 yes, I lived in Tennessee several years. Their sales tax is close to 10%, and Ohio does not have sales tax on food. So if you buy $1,000 of food at the grocery per month then that’s $1,200 a year in sales tax you will pay in Tennessee and not Ohio, now, that alone does not make up for the state income tax, but it certainly lessens the benefit. Tennessee is cheaper than Florida, and I don’t even live in one of the high price areas in Florida, I’m in Melbourne on the central east coast
Hello! I have a question for my sister living in Canada. Her husband and her were thinking of maybe moving back to the states but he is a stone mason and they were wondering if there are any good stone mason jobs around this area? Is Cincinnati a good area for stone masons/is there a demand for it here? :) Thank you!
I am CPA with active licence. I am planing to move to cincinati this summer. Is it easily to get JOB opportunity in auditing or accounting? Or tracing accounting in universities ?

It really is a great place to live. The drivers are a lot better than places I’ve been to!😂
You sure were spot on in your prediction of the Bengals making it to the Super Bowl!!! Wow.

It is a dead city for jobs. Toyota and Citi moved from here. Very difficult to find a job.

Cincinnati is struggling. Wages and growth are low.
I liked living in Cincinnati so much, I moved to Kentucky.

That’s funny cause I’ve lived here since 2019 and I have a bachelors degree and I still haven’t found a job.
Hate to hear that. Hope something breaks for you soon.
