In this video I said the only controller I had tested on PS5 you could remove all the paddles was the Aim, however the Scuf Reflex I tested also has removable paddles.
Just keep a regular controller, or another custom/modded/pro controller with rumbles for different play styles. One for shooter’s like cod where you don’t care about the rumbles or haptic feedback, and one for games you want it for
I was pretty stoked when it was new and liked it at first. But honestly the adaptive triggers are pretty overrated imo. Often its just a bunch of tension that can get tiresome. Rift Apart used it nicely, but you can do without just fine, and yes its optional by now. The rumble haptics are great though. Thats why I like to keep the motors.
Waiting on the aim controller review for the v3 paddles and also on the charging dock station I have mine on the way by the way I received my controllers I tag you on twitter
In Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart you can change the haptics to your liking. I left some haptic feedback on, but turned the adaptive triggers off, and it plays fine. Was this not an option upon release or am I missing out by not keeping adaptive triggers on?
Hello, I’ve been binge watching your videos and have a question. Between Battle Beavers and Evil Gaming which would have the best response time when overclocked? Are they both stock Xbox controllers?
Unfortunately, xbox controllers have a limit on overclock, they can’t go to 1000 like ps5 controllers. They’re capped at 250 even if the program you overclocked it says otherwise. You can test it with any xbox controller, tests were made about them and it caps at 250hz. Also, only works on pc with a ps5 controller or kbm. For your question, my opinion about it, battle beavers are really satisfying, you have 4-5 options on back paddle(PER SIDE) depending on how you feel comfortable. They put little buttons smaller than your fingers and they’re amazing, you can even remove them if not needed. What I love the most is that you can get Really Tight joysticks, tight, Normal, loose, or really loose from the start. I started with the tight one on my right joystick only for FPS games, but I recommend the tightest one, you’ll get use to it in no time and won’t ever want something else. Us at battle beavers think…(just kidding I just loved mine, I was a long time scuf user and unfortunately for them, won’t go back) Enjoy buddy 🤜🏻🤛🏻
why would people even want clicky/tactile trigger switches? the point of them is to be smooth and analog... also I've never had an issue with battery life on any of my controllers, I play tons of games but I don't know how you could play games for so long that you neeeeeeed 50 hours of battery life with no charging breaks
On fps games like cod, it's better to have a fast click rather than a slower smoother pull. It allows you to spam the trigger to fire semi auto weapons a lot easier.
@@DVNGXR that's why you use a third party controller designed for the competitive use-case, there's no use in shelling out money for a premium controller that has features only for you to just strip them out
@@Zippy_Zoltonwhat we are talking about here is a premium competitive controllers, the mouse click triggers would be an added feature specifically for fps games as i said.
You tried Nagashock? Slightly more affordable and I’ve had mine for almost a year it’s been phenomenal. Highest tension right stick is nice. Higher than any other company offering I believe. nice buttons on back
bro, has anybody ever told you that your framing is terrible? i watched a video from 2021 about destiny 2 and you said your viewers were too nice to tell you when your game play looks weird?... welp, i was thinking about leaving a comment on that video saying your framing was really bad but then I thought, it's an old vid and you've probably sussed it by now. fast forward a year later and you're still in the bottom 3rd of your shot 😅. not trying to sh!t on you, just trying to point out something you may not have noticed. 😊
@@SuperiorRecords yeah I cut them off. It’s cool concept but hurts overall feel and use of controller. The battery last 3-4 hours with the rumble activated, and it’s just heavy. I have 2 stock controllers so I might try to take the motors out of 1.

Ideally it would be nice to have a pro controller for FPS games and a different pro controller for everything else

well you can turn it off in the ps5 settings. Some games don't have the option to turn it off
I legitimately never knew you could do that with the input delay
Only on pc, there’s no onboard memory on controllers. I found it the hard way years ago with lots of confused people like me
I can’t stand the adaptive triggers. Idk why you would want extra strain to press a button.
I just turn that off

Just lower the resistance youl be fine

The scuff ps5 controller has removable paddles as well just thought I’d mention it
Even on warzone of ps5 is great with adaptive triggers
Thats why i have one specially for mw2 and other for normal single player 💯
Can I just cut off the wires connecting the vibrators and take them out? Because I don't have soldering tools

Hmm how do I remove these things? Any good tutorials that show you how?
Cool insight.
Does Adaptive Triggers make the games significantlyfun.

Developers of Crossplatform titles are so lazy nowadays, they aren't implementing the haptic feedback.
we've reached 6900 feet go ahead and start flicking the sticks and molly whopping the back paddles lol :D
How about you show us how to remove the vibrating motors lmao

Ok, I won’t… sheesh
So...useless for PC?

i think its because you want to show off your cool wall in the back ground?... show off your cool face you handsome devil 😀
I hate the dual sense and I hate that ps5 games require it. Its so limiting.
I just hate how heavy this stupid controller is
remove the rumble motors i turn them off anyways those things weigh alot
