You inspired me to download Sekiro and other souls games to get better at the games, I really like Sekiro and the parrying sound effects. Tbh I thought it was gonna be hell, it is difficult but I feel like people overrated the difficulty of it.
@@sigterm_ doing charmless on your first playthrough will probably be ridiculously challenging. Doing it on subsequent playthroughs is not that bad since you already know all the bosses pretty well

Ongbal has done JiDao, but Inked Sakura and Yingwu is leagues above JiDao in terms of difficulty. Anyways. Ongbal might be the most prolific sekiro youtuber, but he for sure is not the best even in youtube itself(we'll assume the "greatest" refers to the best), for mods there's youtubers like Wildy Yordan and Tigre and Mike who's done more insane feats than ongbal, while in vanilla there's challenge runners like victor and savio who does insane challenges that takes them hours at a time. Outside of youtube in Bilibili, the higher skilled players would absolutely put Ongbal to shame with their display of game knowledge and skill.

What's interesting is that Midra was a rare ER fight that *didn't* actually feel like a misplaced Sekiro fight. Like Fume Knight in DS2, he felt like he was designed with perfect awareness of the player's base moveset and abilities
I actually realized the other day when replaying sekiro, that promised consort first most opening attack: the whirlwind gravity spin comes from the corrupted monk flying spinning. The animation feels the same.
Wouldn't it be crazy if we found out that Sekiro's father was one of the Tarnished that was banished with Godrick but returned back to the Lands Between when Marika called everyone.
I would suggest putting the red danger symbol over the fire attacks. Since they can’t be blocked, they should be alerted, like with Isshin and Demon’s fire attacks.
It's crazy how pretty much every elden ring boss fits perfectly in sekiro and with deflect it seems way easier, if Elden Ring had bloodborne dodge I think it would've fit the games aggressive bosses somewhat better.
I love how abruptly the music cuts off as he just plops to the floor and disappears, leaving his deflated head behind.
