- The Home Office broke equality law in the way it treated the Windrush generation, according to the equalities watchdog. (Subscribe: bit.ly/C4_News...)
It said today that the negative impacts of the government's “hostile environment” policy were repeatedly ignored, and concerns were dismissed.

it’s disgusting and those responsible will never be held accountable.
Channel 4: leave my comments alone.
This is so sad & shocking.
How can people be so humiliated for all the good they did for the UK.
God bless you 🙏
@random 3591
It's Benefit spell check .
This is who the Tories are. To coin a phrase, "When someone shows you who they are, believe them".
Keep telling yourself that to justify your irrational hatred, most conservatives are good people, just like most liberals are good people just with a slightly lower IQ.
@Via please elaborate ......
Picture of Priti, it actually started with Theresa May!
On another note this has dragged wayyyy too long. Just effing compensate the people and stop the shame.
It was Patel’s pet project!
Priti Patel is British but it strikes me that she feels ashamed of her Indian roots. Therefore she must go further than is required.
Well Priti is running the show now and has clearly done sweet FA to remedy the matter. The only things she’s good at seems to be bullying her colleagues and getting paid for doing very little.
@@chrisj9700 why? Would I, it pretty clear note I didn’t say all conservatives just Petel.
This is pure betrayal, a stab in the back. Some fought for this country including their grandparents. They were not illegal immigrants but British subjects, invited into the country after the war. A country that needed rebuilding and was desperate for labour. They contributed towards the development of this country both physically and financially. Many have lost everything, their job, house and pension. It’s unbelievably wicked, but yet anti-Semitism seems to get more prominence. I’ve met some of these people and there are many horror stories. For example some had British passports which were confiscated and they were either deported or denied into the country. This is pure racism and a human rights issue. Shame on the evil Conservative party!🤬
@Sacrum Imperium Britannicum 🤔 How can I have a conversation with a person that doesn’t even know their own history. As I stipulated the Winrush generation was INVITED into this country as BRITISH SUBJECTS! This was during the colonial era. Do you understand what that means? Britain ruled over the Caribbean countries it had colonised. During that period, the Caribbean people were extremely patriotic and called this country the MOTHERLAND! Moreover, they put their lives on the line for their MOTHERLAND! This also includes Asians, who lost lost a substantial number of men. They were loyal but out of pure wickedness this loyalty has not been reciprocated. This country wouldn’t be what it is today without the huge contribution from the commonwealth. Britain with it’s depleted population would not be able to fend for itself. You speak about the cost to this country 🤔 They helped build this country and paid their taxes plus their families sacrificed their lives to keep this country out of Nazi hands. Incidentally, Colonialism was based on white supremacy and theft. Trillions was stolen from Asia and Africa in slave labour, minerals, precious stones, metals and other goods for the betterment of this country. No amount of charity can ever pay of the debt that these countries are owed.
@@sarahashun1180 Wrong... Look at history again, starting from 1715 until present day. Privateers and piracy. Queen Annes war, European wars ect. The empire was a global empire. If the nations taken didn't want, they should have won. That is history
@Sacrum Imperium Britannicum Russia won the war. We created the world. Ie India
@Sacrum Imperium Britannicum , ehh! What has that got to do with illegally deporting your own citizens, some who had British passports. It’s a breach of human rights plain and simple. Incidentally, the countries you mention don’t have the worst human rights. Have you heard of North Korea, China and the Middle East. Isn’t Britain’s good friend Saudi Arabia held in high esteem. What an abhorrent country!🤨
@Sacrum Imperium Britannicum 👍🏾 Well at least we agree on something. Britain did spearhead suppression across the world. Something to be proud of ehh! One thing I like about Africans, is their openness and honesty about their historical past. This is a quality Europeans seem to lack. Many of the slaves were sold but many were also taken against their will. Moreover, the slaves weren’t treated any better by the Brits. Two wrongs don’t make a right. Unfortunately, there’s slavery everywhere. Even in the West. There was a report recently about modern day slavery in Britain. Apparently, this year it’s risen by 50% plus. It may be hidden but it’s alive and well in this country. So my advice to you is to remove your rose tinted glasses.🧐
I think Priti has a grudge against Caribbean people. Horrid woman
I’ll second that.
@@chrisj9700 She would have enjoyed itfrom afar and also when she deported anyone it’s always Jamaicans
Patel is a Ugandan refugee, she never forgave Idi Amin
@@lawrencebuabeng8664and now takes it out on black people
They should be in jail for causing this amount of trauma and pain
To all my Jamaicans & other West Indians who are looking to migrate to the UK, USA, Canada, or some other big foreign country & to the ones who are already living abroad as well as those who grew up abroad (whether you were born there or not) remember where you come from and don't fling stone behind you. Go back whenever you can, keep links back home or establish them, make sure you know what's going on back home, have something to go back to, have a plan/goal of returning home & contributing to society, invest back home. It has been proven time and time again that this white countries do not want us in their place & will try everything to fling us out. It doesn't matter how long you've lived there, how much you've contributed to their country, or if you have citizenship
And a picture of Priti 😂 nice
Absolutely disgusting and ungrateful treatment of people who helped to rebuild the UK after the War.
Why does Theresa May still have a job?
Was it a "mistake" cos it was exposed!?
Too late now for those who have passed away😢
This almost left me in tears
Bully Pritti is in charge, what do people expect.
Home Office feels amazing when they inflict trauma on others this is a fact!!!
And some people say there's no such thing a systemic racism...
She has no empathy at all
I'm very happy to be a USA citizen born and raised ! 🖕🏻🇬🇧👍🏻🇺🇸😆
It is wrong to go to a church, to a synagogue, a mosque or to any other such meeting place for prayers of worship; because they are all led by the many blind guides and false prophets who continue to mislead us. When the lord God has already sent Immanuel (the anointed one) also called Jesus, to teach us how to pray to God (safely, in a secret place) and to set us free from all religions…
“I will raise up for them a prophet like you [Moses] from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth.” - (Deuteronomy 18: 18) -
“Our God is a God who saves us,
in the Lord God’s hand lies escape from death.” - (Psalm 68: 20) -
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign: A young woman is with child, and she will bear a son, and will call him Immanuel.” [“God is with us”] - (The Prophet Isaiah 7: 14) -
“If you have ears to hear: then hear.” - (Jesus Immanuel, the Messiah, at Mark 4: 23) -
“God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” - (at John 4: 24) -
“In truth I tell you, anyone who gives heed to what I say and puts his trust in him who sent me, has hold of eternal life and does not come up for judgement, but has already passed from death to life.” - (at John 5: 24) -
“You shall know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” - (at John 8: 32) -
“When you pray, go into a room by yourself, and shut the door. Pray to your Father who is there in the secret place; and your Father who sees what is secret will reward you.
In your prayers do not go babbling on like the heathen, who imagine that the more they say the more likely they are to be heard.
Do not imitate them. Your Father knows what your needs are before you ask him.
This is how you should pray:
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come; your will be done, on earth as in heaven,
Give us today our daily bread,
Forgive us the wrong we have done, as we have forgiven those who have wronged us.
And do not bring us to the test, but save us from the evil one.
For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory, for ever.
Amen.
For if you forgive others the wrongs they have done, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; but if you do not forgive others, then the wrongs you have done will not be forgiven by your Father.” - (at Matthew 6: 6-15) -
“Pass no judgement, and you will not be judged. For as you judge others, so you will yourselves be judged, and whatever measure you deal out to others will be dealt back to you.” - (Matthew 7: 1-2) -
“Truly I tell you; if anyone obeys my teaching he shall never know what it is to die.” - (John 8: 51) -
“Always treat others as you would like them to treat you: that is the Law and the Prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life and only a few find it.
Beware of false prophets, men who come to you dressed up as sheep while underneath they are savage wolves. You will recognize them by the fruits they bear.” - (Matthew 7: 12-16) -
“I am the gate; anyone who comes into the fold through me shall be safe. He shall go in and out and shall find pasturage.
The thief comes only to steal, to kill, to destroy; I have come that men may have life, and may have it in all its fullness.” - (John 10: 9-10) -
“I am the resurrection and I am life. If a man has faith in me, even though he dies, he shall come to life; and no one who is alive and has faith shall ever die.” - (John 11: 25-26) -
“I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world” - (John 12: 47) -
“Whoever then will acknowledge me before men, I will acknowledge him before my Father in heaven; and whoever disowns me before men, I will disown him before my Father in heaven.” - (Matthew 10: 32-34) -
“Any plant that is not of my heavenly Father’s planting will be rooted up. Leave them alone; they are blind guides, and if one blind man guides another they will both fall into the ditch.” - (Matthew 15: 13-14) -
“I am the way; I am the truth and I am life; no one comes to the Father except by me. If you knew me you would know my Father too.” (John 14: 6-7) -
“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.
Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” - (Matthew 18: 1-7) -
“Though many are called, few are chosen.” - (Matthew 22: 14) -
“An expert in the law, [a leading religious Pharisee] tested him with this question: ‘Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?’ He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind. That is the greatest commandment. It comes first. The second is like it: Love your neighbour as yourself.
Everything in the Law and the Prophets hangs on these two commandments.’” - (Matthew 22: 35-40) -
“There is no greater love than this, that a man should lay down his life for his friends.” - (John 15: 13) -
“Do not call any man on earth ‘father’; for you have one Father and he is in heaven. Nor must you be called ‘teacher’; you have one Teacher, the Messiah.” - (Matthew 23: 9-10) -
“Take care that no one misleads you: For many will come claiming my name…”
- (Matthew 24: 4) -
“Many false prophets will arise, and will mislead many; and as lawlessness spreads, men’s love for one another will grow cold. But the man who holds out to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the Kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the earth as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come.” - (Matthew 24: 11-14) -
"Stay awake, and pray that you may be spared the test: The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." - (Matthew 26: 41) -
“However, when he comes who is the Spirit of truth; he will guide you into all the truth.” - (John 16: 13) -
“And be assured, I am with you always, to the end of time - (Matthew 28: 20) -
Yours, in true Spirit and in our one given prayer, 2gointruth, Thursday the 26th of November, 2020: - (Matthew 5:14-16) - Where every minute (of both day and night) can be a new beginning for any one of us. Let it always be you.
Awful
Well well well, old men in the civil service picking on a mixed race woman and trying to get her sacked because they won’t listen to her, shameful behaviour considering all the wind rush decisions were made by Alun Johnson the then Labour Home Secretary “ he talked about it on this week a few years back “
But she ramped it up didn't she? No new government coming in is bound by the previous administration are they? Perhaps if there wasn't a moral panic about immigration in the first place, combined with the willingness to use immigrants as a scapegoat for the poor policies of a government 6 years in power by the time they decided to go full steam ahead then this might be not the tragedy it is undoubtedly is would it?
@@BigHenFor well Alan Johnson said on this week that it was the children of the wind rush generation that still hadn’t become British citizens ( they had been asked continuously to register as a British citizen by the civil service administration and for some reason they hadn’t, preferring to be a dual citizen for some reason 🤔 )
The civil service decided this, Alan Johnson signed it off as well as Teresa may and the civil servants could easily decide if they were residents or not by looking at their working records, the civil servants decided not to do this in my opinion to try and drop may in the sh#t and they are doing the same to pretty now because they have a history of bullying women there ⚠️
Not first time not last time. Well done country of broke promises.
Who broke the law? Ministers or civil servants?
Does it matter?

Covid-19, mate. Been asleep for the last 8 months?
Not sure if you get the news wherever you are, but there's a bit of a nasty bug going around...
Thumbnail suggest the issues raised is connected to Priti Petal, who is currently being smeared.
She’s running the show now.
What has she done to remedy this matter since taking up office?
@@francescapowell1538 I will entertain ur question albeit off topic. I believe nothing. The issue isn't a complex fix. Again, video wasn't about her but the thumbnail displayed her at a time she is being smeared. This is what one would call propaganda. Peace
@@2darker Off topic? Ok.
Again she’s Hone Secretary and currently running the show what has she done to remedy the matter?!
As for a smear campaign, I’m not sure how that works when she’s been on air for the admission of “unintentionally” bullying her staff. Like shouting and swearing couldn’t be deemed as unacceptable practice in any work environment.
Although you can call it propaganda if one so chooses. Patel did indeed inherit a defunct position as Home Secretary from Theresa May, yet she’s failed to do anything to rectify the mistakes of her predecessor. Therefore that’s not a witch hunt to any reasonable thinking person, that’s just fact.
@@francescapowell1538 video talks about a scandal and pins her face to the thumbnail. This isn't about her. You proceed to hold her responsible, not for thw scandal but for inaction. I can agree there but again not her scandal. The remedy is a quick fix, shiuld have already been fixed. You are suffering from snowflake syndrome. I manage staff, I do not raise my voice or swear at them yet I still had one complaint in all the years. He has since apologised to me. People do not understand authority anymore. Do your job and I will treat you with respect. I've been punched and all of the above, did i melt, no. She is the boss, if little petel says jump to her staff, jump or walk. I hate snowflakes
@@2darker Do not attempt to write like you know me.
Far from a snowflake simply stating facts from a legal standpoint within The Equalities Act 2010, as set forth by government itself regarding bullying and harassment.
Patel should be held to a high standard given her position concerning such matters. Then again with this government one cannot possibly be surprised at the farce it has become.
As for doing ones job, I agree ... get on with it and do the job.
Which thus far, concerning this matter as the person in charge... Priti has failed and is continuing to fail to do.
But whatever. Totally bored of this subject now as government have shown themselves for what they are.
To many other things to enjoy on UA-cam than get stuck on this.
Signing off mate.
Good morning thank you Jesus for your prayers your family friend support appreciate your prayers your family friend thanks again May all have joy in your spirit Amen
Mistakes happen...
This wasn't a mistake, it was deliberate action targeting a specific ethic group.
@@maigepresents5840 I agree, deliberate action which mistakes happened. Are you saying this isn't a mistake and that the Gov did good. As a black man with responsibility I can see the mistake, even I've made mistakes before. If you have evidence that shows intent I would like to see that
Ezekiel 38:21
I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign LORD. Every man's sword will be against his brother.
22 I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.
23 And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD.'
