Good morning. Another busy day on the farm. Must be quite satisfying to accomplish more than you guys thought you would. The sheep running with their ears flapping is so darn cute. They look like they have joy just being alive. So many things you have to watch for in your flock to keep them healthy. So impressed that you guys care so much about them. I love how sheep look. Blessings to you both. ❤️🥰
The little Shetland has picked up in the last 6 weeks. Such a wee wiry girl. Days like today when all goes swimmingly makes you not even game to think let alone speak because the good luck fairy may depart. But the achievement feels fantastic.
Another great video! Lynn can you pet the Shetland? She does look good running with the ewe flock in the yard🐑🐑🐑 Sheep are so bright and happy looking!$
@@EwetopiaFarms So what’s the story behind that older Shetland girl? Clearly she’s unique and earned her spot on the farm, so I’m guessing she’s a bit like Sandi Brock’s golden girls? (She keeps her fav older ladies in a “retirement” pasture for them to live out their older years).
@Jesse Hachey I used to have Shetland sheep and she is the last of them. We don't breed her but she lives with the lamb groups and acts kind of like a mentor to the lambs. She is 17 years old
Very busy and productive day on the farm y’all! I have a question and I’m not sure if you are knowledgeable on this subject but you usually are on all things sheep so here goes…. I was wondering about a small homestead using sheep for multiple uses, including milking for cheese making. I’ve never tasted sheep’s milk or cheese but I was wondering for sustainably reasons. Like for someone that didn’t have acreage for a cow. ♥️
Yes, you can milk sheep and goats. Their milk is higher in fat I believe so tastes a little different than cow's milk. I think feta and similar cheeses are both sheep and goat milk. It is popular overseas but not as much in North America although I see it growing for sustainability reasons as you mentioned. Check your grocery stores in the specialty cheeses section and give it a try!🙂

Yes, although busy yesterday, it felt SO good to get so much accomplished!
I will watch Sally's progress as time goes on, what an inspiration to see how long our pets/livestock live with great care!

Yes you are right and eloquent on everything!🙂
I think i've said this before, but your shetland looks like a sweet little old grammie! She looks good.
She looked great yesterday didn't she?!🙂
Wow, then she has beat the age! That is amazing, good for her!!!!

No, she is totally wild! You'd think living here the last 16 years she'd be one of the cuddlers but nope, definitely not!😆

She did! Did you give her a name? She looks like a Sally to me?
She has no name but Sally sounds good!🙂
🇨🇦👍👍👍💯🇺🇸
It would be awesome if she lives to be 14!
She's 16!
I desperately want to watch but it's making me sea sick 😭
Sorry, I am working with a hand held cell phone
