Ram trucks are so nice, so much style and an unbelievable level of functionality. Videos like this make me sad that the deal I was working on a 2500 power wagon didn't work out.
I got my 2500 Rebel about 2 months ago. Similar truck - I got the power steps. Mine is also a fifth wheel. The one you reviewed is the lunar edition. I got $14K MSRP. Great truck! Rather burn my DEF using the braking than do brake jobs :).
Ram's kryptonite is their GVWR in the 2500. There's no excuse for 1600 ibs of payload, its not a Power Wagon... The damn Maverick has more payload than that. F250 Tremor and Silverado 2500 ZR2 almost double that number. Shame since you can't get a 3500 Rebel.
When we needed a HD truck to pull our camper i had my wife drive them all and make the choice what she liked best. She chose the ram 2500 Cummins. 2 weeks after having it she decided to sell her brand new ford Explorer and drive the ram full time. She drove it for 3 years and 89k miles as a daily driver. She loved it. She then sold it and went a 4 runner. 3 weeks ago she wanted back in a teuck and she bought a colorado zr2. Women love trucks!
Such a great looking truck. My local dealer has a Lunar Edition Rebel with the diesel engine that has my attention. Not sure I want to give up my Power Wagon for it though.
Up the back tires and over the rails works better and faster. I'm a short guy and on my ram 2500 with 35s that how I always go into the bed. At the same time my dad hade a chevy with the tailgate step. Once I showed him thst trick he never touched the tailgate step again.
These are great trucks but that Cummins makes it really front heavy offroad. Tends to slide more that it should in snow and ice. If you do get it stuck... then it's really stuck. Just traded mine for a 1500 ZR2.
@wayneperry965 had a 2019 ram 2500 Cummins. The great thing about all the weight up front was the added traction from the weight. Agree with you when it got stuck it was stuck! And it took alot of teuck to move it.
@nhoemmienxa23 not sure. End of the year is right now and not sure how many 2500 rebels are around yet. I would think 15-20% would be doable maybe more depending on the number of dealers that have one that you can work and how quick you can move on it. When Jan 1st hits dealers take a breath and stop trying so hard to make a sale for a few weeks. But now they are racing to get as many sales checked as possible for year end numbers
Had to upgrade to a full size truck from a RAM 1500 built to serve. Wanted to buy a RAM but the payload is awful. Bought a wiggly F250 but has 2,850 lbs payload with a diesel. This RAM has 1600 lbs of payload.. really? That's not too far of similar half tons. Such a shame.
Jason most of us can’t afford a truck like this. Let’s see some tradesman 2500 builds with some slight options.

@traebishop3846 another deal will happen. Been disappointed by deals falling thru so many times only to have a better deal later

Outstanding. And loved the exhaust brake when towing in the hills

My wife drives a Lincoln SUV. She said she wants that truck. ❤😂

@That_Paul_Guy the lunar is super sexy. But not sure i could part with a power wagon if I owned one
@@Jason-Samko you’re right, I should go buy something for my PW for my transgressions. 😂
@That_Paul_Guy 😂😂
Merry Christmas.

The only miss is the “bed access” on the Ram. Ford and GM has the tailgate step which makes it so easy to get into the bed.

@@Jason-Samko it’s not that people can’t get into the bed, it’s just the addition to the bed access from the other brands makes it easier.
@3:25 comes with a rag 😂
It’s a dealer installed option -- 😂😂😂
Gorgeous truck
Sure is a big sexy beast of a truck with all the bells and whistles

This guy getting that higher December revenue
Super nice truck if only they were listed for $40-50k closer to what it's really worth.
That time is gone.
@@zigthepolishguy2610 yeah but that is still the real value of these things they just charge us 20% more.
very good
modern emissions standards might be the only negative
Very true. Especially 2027 when the hds get hit hard by epa
@@Jason-Samko Im hoping the Trump Admin stops that nonsense.
More load than the longhorn limited?
I don't think so. But close
Any chance we can get that car for around 65K Jason?

@ this Rebel is gorgeous but the price tag make me hestitate to contact them.

Not a plastic bumper, it’s very much steel
It’s not even a limited or a limited longhorn and they’re a bit cheaper
