We benefit from your years of experience as a working pro. Your channel has turned our thinking around in how we light our location sessions and given us a new approach to our studio work as well. You have changed the 'look' of our product and we feel benefits will derive from a subscription to this channel. Northern Alberta. Thank you Kyle.
Amazing work, glad to see you back on UA-cam
Thanks! UA-cam is lots of work and I’m too lazy. Lol
I have watched so many mentors but you are genius thanks a lot. Hope I can buy your class soon.
Thank you!
Hey Kyle, really helpful video! You do great work!
Thank you Preston. Also, I replied your email.
Can you please where to buy you stand set up for both lights and descriptions of stands? Thank you so much....
Have you done pictures with bigger models? I would like how you work with them.
Only with clients
Hi I enjoy your videos. Where did you buy the light stand attachment for a 2nd softbox on the same stand?
Cupo right angle pin. You can buy it from B&H
I think I get it: What you're saying, in 25 words or less, is when shooting outdoors, don't worry about hair lights or filling shadows, mobility, and getting more intereseting backgrounds, is more important. All you really need is a 24" soft box. One of my biggest headaches is getting permission to shoot on private property! One solution is "driveby shooting" or "run and gun". If all you're packing is a small soft box/light stand, run and gun, before the cops/security guard comes is a lot more feasible.
Great tutorial Kyle! do you use any kind of gels in your flash?
I don’t
Thank you, great information and tips. BTW, love all your work. Question: What are you using to mount the second light on the stand?
Sorry just saw this. lol. It’s a Kupo right angle pin. I have a snap shot of it on my recent video.
Hi Kyle, what light stand do you suggest for outdoor location?
This is what I use: strobepro.com/collections/light-stands/products/9-adjustable-air-cushioned-light-stand
