    For anyone struggling with double pirroutes: doubles are so easy once you actually get it! It’s ok if it takes long just do these they are my favourite tips:
    1. spot something and keep your eyes on it the entire time
    2. Count DOWN from how many you want to do, if you want to do two you count in your head 2,1 (still spotting your spot.
    3. Land into fourth position ALWAYS to get used to it.
    Hope you get your pirouette!

    After strengthening my core, legs and practicing standing on one leg, pirouette is the next step to improving my balance. Your step by step instruction shows the building blocks needed to safely execute the spin. As a person in my 70s, working on and maintaining good balance is critical and your video will get me there.

  • @kittygangmimi

    Am I the only one here that's trying to spin without falling? Like how do I balance on an arch foot without falling?

    • @emeralds.760
      @emeralds.760 5 років тому +38

      Try to spot (keep your eye on one thing and spin your head around a bit faster than the rest of you) and practice balancing on releve for longer than you take to do a pirouette. You can use the barre at first, but once you're more used to it you should be fine. Practice, practice, practice! Hope this was of some help ❤️

      She says in the video, it's about using the momentum from the arm change and the foot coming up. So you have to do it all in quick succession. And keep your core very tight like another commenter said. The teacher says in the video as well if you do some crunches before doing this it helps to train your core to engage for the pirouette.

    The FitnessGram Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal: BEEP. A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound: DING. Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over. The test will begin on the word start. On your mark, get ready, start.

I have realized that I have been pushing myself way too hard and making myself frustrated that I can’t do it ... so I decided to just restart from the basics and watching this video really helped me out. I was easily able to get perfect triples in about 20 minutes just by watching this video and flowing with my body.

I at least have my full splits now, and am really close to my middle splits, and if I worked harder Id probably be able to do more. Don't let it discourage you. I was taking dance classes (hip hop and Latin american dances) for around 8 years (since I was 7 or 8 until I was almost 16), then I quit because of financial reasons (mostly- there was some other shit happening at home), I was so frustrated at the world (teenage years can be difficult) so angry and felt disappointed at myself for quitting. I started partying hard until I stopped and got back into dancing when I was around 22 or 23. I’m 25 right now thinking about signing into dance academy (going to audition next year). My dream is to form a girl group in similar style as the pussycat dolls (without any singing probably though) and to just have fun with it! So it’s never too late to pursue your dreams!! I’m finishing school to be an esthetician so I could also work an get paid because with only dancing here in my country you don’t really go far in financial sense. But I love dancing so that’s what I’ll do! 😊

    Hi Auti! You are such a great dancer and I was sooo happy when I was able to do this. This is what a teacher is. Not someone who's good at it but who can teach it to people in the greatest way! Love from Africa(I'm an Indian btw)

    I’m having trouble with my passe when I turn around my foot just goes far away from my knee, and I loose my balance. I know it’s going to take time to have it perfect but it’s getting me frustrated.
