I also want to make a DP comment. That Lourdes/Moreno trade saved us 32 double plays in 2022! Lourdes has 20 and Moreno had 17 in ARI. Varsho had 5. Vlad and Kirk had about 45 between them. We likely wouldn't have made the playoffs in 2022 if we had 4 guys contributing 80 dps lol Vlad led baseball with 26.
When the Jays traded Teo and Lourdes, it was the start of the defensive minded play. They finished first in pitching and defense that next year. Basically perfected their plan. No one saw the offense imploding the way it did though. Then they tried to sign Ohtani, but failed. There were no ways to fix the offense last year (though it shouldn't have taken a further step back) I trust them to fix it this winter. Probably quite Easily. They aren't going to hold off this time to wait for Kyle Tucker and Arraez next year.
Our DRS didnt make sense. We had 102, Cleveland had 89, LA and Mil were mid 60s and everyone else had 50 and under. Half our total. Our total was more than the bottom 20 teams combined. (not an exaggeration lol) Then our fld% was below league average.
