nice video. DA40 looks like a capable aircraft for this type of trip .. one slightly tongue in cheek question - are the bars ironic? I have a CPL but have never even considered wearing them 😄

Love the content but I can't help but notice that you talk way too much on the radio, we have standardized phraseology for a reason. Request 20 deg left or right, climb or descenti to XY alt for weather is all you need. All that talking just gives us GA pilots a bad rep with ATC. Cause I know I'd start to get annoyed if I were them.

You are right that ATC don't care nor want to know the intricacies, they just want to keep you safe and separated from other aircraft. I'll try work on it and hope it results in a better pilot. Needed before a busy approach into Ibiza after a long day. I tried Chocolate last summer and it was a mess... never again!!
