My dad used to have a 1971 Toyota Corolla 1.8 liter. His car was white and his car was way more louder than this. I don't know if you notice but back then cars had 4 seats instead of 5 seats. His car had over 500 horsepower.

he probably had the 2TG engine not the engine here which is a 2TC. The 2TG was the engine available in the japanese and european spec cars from the research ive done the ones that came to the us had a 2TC due to emissions issues. But the 2TG is one of the coolest, rarest, most insane toyota engines ever built. I heard in the late 60s toyota spent over 20 mill just on the engine design of those bad boys. But good luck finding one nowadays :/

Beautiful little Mango... I much rather prefer this unmolested look, over the fender flares, Hayashi wheels, etc... This original paint and body is so unassuming and pure 70s class. The choice of wheels and tyres really doesn't distract from the original aesthetic. What a gem!

Tips for future interview the dude and then get cars shots, don't just walk away when he's talking to you. Plus audio could be better with mics

pretty cheap for headlamps to be honest, specially for ones that are over 40 years old. A few ones weve gotten at the shop run at like grand each.
