EPIC 50k RUN on the Serpent Trail | Running with Friends and Giving Back | Run4Adventure

- Serpent Trail Race 50k 2024. It’s that time of the year again, Serpent Trail time! Without doubt Freedom Racing’s Serpent Trail weekend is one of our stand out events of the year and we always make the annual pilgrimage up to Petersfield for the race. This year I took on the 50k distance, one of the best 50k routes out there in my humble opinion and Liga ran the 20k. The race has featured on the channel a few times now so this year I wanted to do something a bit different. So I recruited the help of good friend Rob and we headed out on to the beautiful 50k route as the Serpent Trail Santa and his little elf helper, giving back to all the wonderful marshalls and crew as we went!

My first ultra was race to the king 50km 3 weeks prior to this. I learnt a lot from that experience but thought at the time I’d never complete a hundred. Three weeks later I finished the Serpent trail 100. Came up with a different strategy and it worked. Came to this race because of your channel Lloyd. It was a truly amazing event. The only negative was my tent leaked the night before. Oh well. Another excellent video.

I ran the 50k this year as well and it was fantastic. Managed to spot myself a few times in the vid as we ran near each other for the first 10k or so which was cool! Thanks for the recommendation, it was a brilliant first 50k!
This was my first 50k this year and the event was incredible,. the buzz, the staff, the weather in the end, Id defo do it again. Gutted for not meeting you, but maybe next year!
