Hey, do you have to put a washer on each bolt for balance? I’m having this problem after a service from the dealer and I don’t want to pay them anything else. Looks east enough. Please advise.
I bought a tube of that iso flex, changed my belt the other day and couldn't figure out where I apply it. I changed the belt and just put it back together. Ever since then I've been having a loud noise. Any advice?
You need to pull the one way bearing out. Carefull when you do as there are 2 springs and caps that will pop out. Grease the bearing race and the slider cap
Could this be the culprit on a CVT transmission? My 2010 jeep compass is making a clacking noise upon acceleration and deceleration. Sometimes even when shifting from park to reverse or park to drive. It doesn't however make the noise when revved in park or nuetral. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated thanks!
Thanks for your response. Yes that's what I am dreading a transmission problem. I'm hoping it's maybe the axel. Keeping my fingers crossed for the best worst case scenario.
Wanted to thank you for this video! I just bought a 2010 800, and I could not for the life of me figure out what that noise was in the primary!
Tyler Reome I'm glad I could help
Please let me know what the blue stuff on your ATV is?? Did u add that to the washer to get it on better??
It's blue loctite
@@153eddy so do I add that on as well?
A very small dab on the thread to ensure the nut doesn't back off with vibrations
@@153eddy sweet man thanks .it's been so long since I've taken my atv out I'ma make sure it's that first.if so I'm good to go. Thanks
So you want the bolt to spin? You don’t want the nut to be cranked down tight?

Yes. Each bolt gets a washer

No. Car cvt's are a little different. Yours sounds like a loose or worn cvt chain

How are them washers holding up 5 years later???
They are good. I've done a few other machines as well and so far no issues at all.
@@153eddy Thank you very much!!!
