Ranking the Records: Yes

- In this latest edition, Tony reluctantly wanders into the beehive of all internet fan beehives, the band Yes. You have your complete deniers who try to tell you that Jon Davidson is just as good as Jon Anderson, and you have your purists who aren't really buying anything that Anderson is not involved in. Although Tony has tried to give it a chance, both live and on several post-Jon A records, you can count him in the latter category.
HENCE, we won't rank anything past 2001.
You will note that there is a small quip about the AWBH album which in hindsight we probably should have included although Tony finds the project to be very disappointing. Nevertheless, there's enough great music and a great creative spirit which is valuable to us fans everywhere despite your feelings on what some consider to be lyrical nonsense. Tony confesses that he saw them live every year from 1975 through the mid-80s and personally sung along to all the gobbly-gook. Please leave your own lists (or not) and your thoughts about the proggiest of all prog bands, Yes. We would appreciate your subscription and please do us a favor by hitting the like button. Thanks for riding a long and we'll be back soon for some more fun.
