a dear friend of mine came to my house with bags of produce. he was so happy saying it was his first really good harvest. i asked him, Joe how many years have you been growing. 47 years he said then added it a work in progress. Joe taught me alot about patience. every season is different but being patient and persistent is a way life. Thank You Joe!
Being Matt I think Joe smokes lots of weed if he can't remember his good harvests after 47 years
Paint rocks different colors and write in paint pen the name of what you planted.
or use plastic forks etc, an write plants on them
Becky Beck , I paint bricks white, write in black and then spray with sealer
Great idea. Thanks!
Great idea! And I'm on it!
That...is a great idea!
A perfect garden is a garden that gives you any food. Even one tomato!! You guys are amazing growing the food and the kids/baby! 😘
Amen!
Instablaster...
You might mention how long you've been on the land and what was there when you started....
You've really done quite a bit. 💚💜😎
That's a fact. You guys have a LOT on your plates... I'm amazed at all you've done. Do not get discouraged. These are your Experimental Years.... you are doing so many a great service.
There was a lot of trash. Literally. Except metal- all that was stripped. Nothing good. No gardens. Just trash. ALL over!
@@gratituderanch9406 Your name is Gratitude and you talk like that?
@@Creative-Chaos Catherine, any wonder your name begins with CAT? Judgemental, much? Huh?
I needed this encouragement today after finding the deer have eaten almost all my beans and squash bugs have gotten all my squash. I look at the positive though, and will continue planting! Your garden is beautiful!
I am 58 years I grew up on a little farm sheep and chickens was the farm on one acre. Thank you guys. now I live in a mobile. and have my self a little garden in my small yard and my roots are coming back. we need to live simple.
I'm in Western NC also and had the same problem with my corn. I thought it was too much water, but thanks for reminding me about the frost. That's what did it.
Also, saw your video of your accident. So sorry that happened to you. I have learned since living here to grow another set of eyes. Vehicles are always coming over the center line also, especially on the curves. Stay well and be safe and know we are wishing you a healthy pregnancy, Meg. Love what you guys are doing. Happy Harvest!!!
In NC collards are best when you plant late summer and harvest after the 1st frost
Yep! Frost makes collards less bitter and more tender! Yum!!
So those radishes that bolted; you see those green pods on them? Those can be picked and eaten raw or sauteed. Trust me they are delicious in stir fry or added to mixed veggies. I found this out by accident and now I always let a few go to seed. Bonus the bees love the flowers.
This has been a weird year for gardening everywhere. I am in the high desert of the south west and we passed our last frost date with 90 degree days and 26 degree nights. By the time I could get things in the ground, the blister beetles then the grasshoppers and locust hit. Just noticed June bugs hatching. Still don't have much in the ground BUT I'm still trying. Just keep going no matter what. God Bless
We might be neighbors. :-) My first year gardening in Moriarty, NM. Thrips just about took out everything before I found them... never even heard of them before this year. Then the blister beetles and grasshoppers started in... throw in 65mph wind gusts and I'm about ready to throw in the towel!
Not just the US. even here in the southern part of africa, we've had record breaking sand storms and heat waves. We get them every winter, but not this many. The winter has been colder too, I even saw frost for the first time in my life. Nature wants my spinach to die dammit!
Scientists now think that our sun has had micro novas fairly regularly in the past and we are due for another in a decade or so. This, they say explains the fossil records. Check out suspiciousobservers for lots of info about this. Anyway, they are predicting weird weather intensifying as the sun is revving up for its thing. THe guy is pretty upbeat about it, not doom and gloom.
Yeah it’s been a hard year. The virus delayed my seed order by a month. But I’m still trying. Just got our pepper plants into the ground today. Haven’t planted any of our summer garden stuff yet though cause we hadn’t finished our garden bed. That’ll be next though we can still try! 😊
Knee high by
the 4th of July.
That's the old saying for corn.
Don't give up yet.
That's here in Ohio, but not down "south".
That’s here in VA too
That's here in Kansas
GKevin Eady they’re up in the mountainous region of NC - it could apply...
In Texas it's, "Over your eye by fourth of July..." No. Not really. I just made that up, but mine are over my head! haha Popcorn not sweet though.
Ben and Meg, you are growing a new child, growing a physical home, growing roots in a foreign state, growing the awesome boys that you already have, and really....growing yourselves. The harvest you reap in this growing season is far more valuable and lasting and sustaining than anything you could pull from that garden this summer. Be encouraged, your harvest baskets will be overflowing.
I've been gardening for about 55 years and I can truly say, there is no garden out there that is perfect. Your garden is great, just smile and enjoy!
Your family has done alot in the time you have been on your property. God has been good you have been blessed and more will come in the years ahead. God bless.
A genius gardner long past always told me to plant corn in rows of 4 so it will pollinate properly. You guy are awesome, I am so jealous of your blessings but super happy they are your blessings. I live in California and have been struggling to acquire my own property so I can garden and homestead. Dont forget to take a few seconds to breathe in and let it out slowly.
Or in block's
Anytime something doesn't grow in my garden, I say, "God must not want it here..." and then I plant something different the next year. You are doing a fantastic job. Especially with feeding your garden waste to the animals. Much love.
I love you both....and, love the fact that you don't have to be a perfect gardener. Each year there's always an obstacle...no matter where you live.
In western New York we say “ knee high by 4th of July “.Ahead of us.👍
Yes in deed !!! That’s what my father always said too !!😄🌽
That's what I always heard living in Michigan corn country. They should be good.
Yes, I was wondering why the expectation was that they should be taller. In Massachusetts they are knee high right now! 😉
I waited to plant a garden for years because I thought I needed the fancy, well-planned garden. I decided to go for it this season and I LOVE my rag tag bucket garden/Back to edan Garden. I've learned so much already from just trying and even learned from my failures. Thanks for encouraging people like me that it's ok to fail, to try new things, and to plain just plant!❤🌱
U guys rock! I love ur videos and look forward to them. This video is the first time I’ve seen disappointment in your eyes whilst discussing your garden failures this year. I wanted to take the opportunity to try to convince u that ur garden looks amazing! U both are amazing ppl! Idk u in person obviously (lol) but I can not even count how many times u have inspired me and gave me the courage to try things. Ur ability to explain things in such a way that makes me feel like I’m sitting one on one with you and you’re answering my personal questions! You have accomplished so overwhelmingly much in the short time u have been on ur property. I know u get frustrated and I know sometimes it seems like u hit a brick wall, but u always push thru and find a way! U are an inspiration for many of us! Both of u! Keep ur head up guys! U got this! P.s. Meg, pregnancy looks absolutely gorgeous on u! Ben, u put ur all into everything u do and it shows. Holler boys, stay sweet u boys are the coolest dudes on UA-cam in my opinion!
I wholeheartedly agree with all you said!
If you don’t get a lot of corn, the pigs will love the stalks anyway‼️. 🐽. ❤️
This.
Here in France, farmers shred the stalks and silage it for the winter, then mix it with molasses just before feeding to dairy cattle. And, as you said, great for pigs too.
Great job, you guys! It is hard to grow things when you start with heavy clay soil. You have accomplished so much in the past year.
Y’all are doing an amazing job! Priorities, with that precious little one coming soon! Like someone said, “Take in some deep breaths, and exhale slowly .” Your boys are helping and learning. Animals, galore! Ben, you’re so talented and blessed to have the skills that you do. Such a great problem solver. Meg, it’s amazing that you’ve been able to get as much done as you do. Your cooking and baking looks delicious! Keeping up with behind the scenes editing, etc. ( Away from your home)You’re approaching nesting stage, lol, that’s a phenomenon,” For real” people! Understandable that you are looking forward to moving into the mobile home. God Bless you all! You are loved and supported! 💓
As always, press the like button, then watch the episode, then feel happy... Greetings from Sweden (as always) 😀
The best thing you're growing is that wee baby human. This reminds me of the saying from belataine cottage channel. Plant like your life depends on it, for it does, blessings.
have to love Collette, she is amazing.
hi watching from ireland, and i watch collette too, how funny to meet in n.carolina lol
You guys are doing awesome, love your attitude towards the garden. I learned the hard way to not cry over “spilled milk”. My daughter, who had just turned 24, was shot and killed 22 years ago. I realize life is to short to get upset over the small stuff. God opened my eyes, he gave you his children to raise and love, he can take them home anytime. Love your kids, love your mate. You all please take care and be safe. Joice
It’s the way it is some years we have a good harvest sometimes we don’t your right we just have to keep trying and we learn on the way I love to watch your channel God bless you 🌷
As my farmer friend in Florida has taught me, "Just keep throwin' seed at it!" Continued blessings, daisy@MapleHill101.
'...just where you're at...' is the REASON I thoroughly enjoy your channel. I already watch people with magnificent and established farms/homes/gardens. The joy for me, in tuning in to your experience, is getting in at ground level to watch how a young, intelligent, hip family grows from the beginning.
You all have done alot with your garden considering all the other work you've been doing---candles, making knives, chickens, pigs, cooking, and building a home. That's pretty Amazing!👍😊
God bless you all.🤗🙏💖
I love you guys. New baby on the way, new farm, new crops, new home, and always finding time to go help someone else in need. Just love you all and your boys. Can’t wait to see the newest addition. Blessings to u all
Great garden tour... I love how you guys turn even gardening disasters into a joke. You really have the right attitude... nothing is ever the end of the world... just keep smiling and move on. This was probably one of the most entertaining sessions I have seen in a while. God bless you all.
Your new garden is evolving and producing and you can’t ask for more than that. I love how you say ‘next year will be better’ or ‘next year will be different’ because really that is what we all say! Every gardener will agree that not everything goes to plan but it’s fun trying. 😊🇦🇺
Sweet corn usually tassels early and does not grow very tall
Glad to hear that i was worried mine tasseled too soon
some varieties are tiny when they tassle and somen are larger
I love how you never stop learning with gardening! Beautiful garden!
Loving the frequent uploads, you guys have become my favorite channel!
Did you guys ever imagine when you were living in California that you'd be in this amazing place today ❣️ So stinking awesome ❤️💕 and might I add my garden was a complete fail this year but my goat's are doing fantastic and we are up to our eyeballs with milk which totally means CHEESE 🧀 😂👍 peace ✌️💐
Y'all are doing so well, just keep at it. Last time I had my own garden was in a place that was almost devoid of topsoil and mostly rock (break out the pick axe!!), so it took me about 8 years to create decent soil there. I knew it was a success the year I made salsa and salad using only what I grew, fresh from the garden. 😁
Hey, don't forget to trellis your Luffa and tomatoes!
Knee high by the 4 of July for corn !! Yours is almost meg high by the end of June!!😂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️
Ben needs a tshirt that says “I’m the Snack Man” 😂
lol... I didn't read the reply's until after I posted! I agree, new shirt merchandise!!! =D
Hahahahahahahaha!
I would buy that shirt :)
I’ll be really honest. I’m amazed that you are growing as much as you are in that clay soil you have. I can only imagine the amounts of food you’ll be growing in the years to come. Way to go!!
I must say you make a great contribution to your family by growing what need. Everyone is waiting to see what is going to happen next.
Awwww. that is SO neat that you and Brett ate the raw zucchini. I LOVE it raw too! Your sons are too cute and sweet!
I feel your corn pain! 🌽 We (Arkansas) had a late frost too, then a freak flash flood. My 2' corn when to the compost, but I replanted. Then the blue Jay's hit, they hit 12 time! 😳😭 I am on lucky 13 and fingers crossed, its finally looking good! Good luck with yours!
Ok....I had to stop the video (stopped at 9:43) for a second because I was laughing so hard! I have to say.... My garden has had some wonderful zucchini, lettuce, radishes, 6ft corn (.....sorry guys!!!), so much more and definitely a BUMPER CROP OF WEEDS!!!!! And Morning Glory.....oh the Morning Glory! I can spot it in my sleep. Keep up the great work! The place looks great!
This year I decided to grow lettuce. It was coming up really great. Yeah, then a water turtle wiped it all out while looking for a place to lay her eggs. Needless to say, the chickens enjoyed the lettuce. Next year I will try again WITH a short fence around it. :-)
Water turtle might wish to come back to the same place to nest
@@reesekolcow6136 Hence, the short fence. 😊❤🐢
The two of you are so very positive. You are both realistic and incredibly busy. I admire both of you.
Keep up the good work. You two and family are beautiful. I enjoy watching you. Working on the mobile home, gardening, caring for pigs and chickens PLUS a pregnant wife, is quite enough for one family. God bless and take good care of yourselves.
So proud of you guys, you are true pioneers. Love what you are doing and love your attitude, it is all a process. None of this is a waste by any means, all success. I started saving the seeds of the plants that do well and have survived my climate. This year was a prime example of how a pandemic can create a shortage of seeds in the store. My son told me when he was like 4 years old to “save the seeds mommy”. It has taken years for me to truly get on board with it but this year when a plant that did well goes to seed and does well, I save the seeds. I let my cilantro and herbs reseed their beds every years, they are very hardy seed now. Hang in there, one day at at time because we are promised no more but the moment we are n, love, live and enjoy the journey. God Bless.
Love the garden beds you have! We are in NW Ga and we also had a late frost and a lot of rain. 75% of the rain was storms with a lot of wind. This last storm blew over our corn which is like yours short.
We are loving our green onions 😍
I love to pull it clean it up and have the whole green onion with my meal. We love Texas Sweet's. We have our green beans planted in a 6' dome so I basically walk in the middle of the dome to pick 95% of the green beans. Already getting a ton of green beans. We have 50 tomato plants which has green tomatoes on them right now. Our okra looks stunted.
We only have 2 squash and 1 zucchini planted and they are providing enough to eat and put in the freezer. I planted a couple of pimento plants this year hoping to be able to put up a few jars. I love making homemade pimento cheese.
I hope I can keep up putting up all of this food for a rainy day especially.
Meg and Ben, I just have to tell you that it is so amazing to see you guys so happy and ALIVE on your homestead! You have just blossomed and thrived there and it's sweet to see the transformation over the last few years. *hugs* :)
My grandparents would grow a ton of onions. To store them, my grandma hung them up in old pantyhose. Your garden looks great!
Next year have some remay cloth on hand to cover if frosty possible. Purple green beans are my favorite. Pick early and blanch and chill and eat cold with your favorite veggie dip. YUM.
Garden looks great! Having a garden is like having kids grows like crazy hard to maintain an sometimes doesn’t do what you it too😂🤣 but it’s totally worth it!
dehydrated chopped onions, onion powder. It is your first year don't downplay how hard it is to get a good producing garden going. Lots of soil prep and it only gets better year after year. Learning new weather patterns. You are a wonderful family following your dreams. Keep up the good work.
Keep going your doing fine. Just planting and learning.
You guys are some of the hardest working people I see on UA-cam. Really, all of the homesteaders I see on UA-cam are amazing, but you guys have worked a mess of a property (shame on whomever had it before you) and are doing wonderful things. Bless you all and thanks for the video!
I marathon wat hed another channel called
Simply living Alaska
I love these type of channels that show the progression and hard work
Awe! I agree with your follower Jessica Rogers- a garden is a garden if it gives you one tomato. I look at your garden and I see so much heart and time spent with the kids planting seed- I think you have already harvested quality family time- sounds like weather can be unpredictable😊 maybe a small high tunnel to have more control-- I sick back in tears and say Damn this little family has come alongggggg way since I started watching them❤️
Got a handful of my purple beans today. Ate them right out of yard. Inside is green. Outside is a deep purple. Delicious.
Thanks for sharing! Dream big always!
I believe we are not too far from you, we’re in Mills River. This has been another challenging weather year. Very dramatic weather and precipitation swings. Bee happy!
Your garden this year is so much bigger and ambitious than last year. You should be tremendously proud of your accomplishment! Way to go!
From what you started with, the garden is amazing! You are growing a Baby, so this takes the lead! You and your family are amazing and thank you for sharing!.....
Your garden do it your way. When it doesn’t adjust and keep planting.
It looks good and it will help feed your family and your animals. Have fun with it and don’t feel sad or embarrassed. Enjoy your growing garden and lovely family.
I think it’s awesome the little Hollar men want to camp out in the trailer! Making memories...in the house that Dad built...that’s the stuff great memories are made of 💙💙
Glad those onions are working out for you 😉. I lost mine and all my peppers. You didn’t mention all those blackberries. Definitely great harvests from them😋
I was like that the first year and was soooo disappointed when EVERYTHING bombed out! Sat moping for a week, went and bought seedlings and grew a pretty nice crop. Then decided, like you, it will never be perfect, but it is a learning curve and nature will interfere, so do the best you can and there is always next year :-D
My grandmother in Michigan always planted her cabbage next to the creek every year and had a bumper crop along with little heads of cabbage coming in after she cut the big heads off into the winter time.
You guys have the best attitude! Your plate is so full right now anything you get from your gardens is just gravy. Great example of just plant something! Love the tour. Tfs. Blessings!
At end of video, greens in back you said got overgrown before harvested, Can use large leaves for stuffing with rice, chopped onions, chopped tomato, some chopped meat if desired, but tasty without meat, add salt, b. pepper to taste, cook about another pot lid or soup bones until done and rice is dry and not mushy in pkg.(Use grape leaves, cabbage, kale, mustard, *squash, eggplant, green peppers, tomato potatoes after scrap inside out). These things can be finger foods for snacks for children even cold esp grape leaves.
I've been in the hospital for almost a week and I am so grateful for your uploads! Thank You!!
You guys are great. I went through the something with the frost. I lost a lot so I replanted. Then the squirrels ate what was left. I took a deep breath and planted again. Watching you guys helps me keep going. Thank you
There is no shame in being a beginner. You may not be 'beginner's ' in the truest sense but I think you are on this larger scale of gardening . There are always things that come up and cause an adjust ment to your plans as well, yet you seem to keep your heads up and continue to preserve.
The question will never be IF you have unexpected failures, but more as to 'how's you deal with those failures. Right now I'd say it appears to me you've done a darn good job with everything that's on your plate this year!
Many congratulations and I'm looking forward to your growth!
Ben and Meg...I know this is an old video of yours (3yrs) but I'min the process of thinking about next years garden, and the double digging method sounds like something I might try. Thank you for all the wonderful videos of your life's journey. You inspire this old lady and make my husband a little envious of what Ben does. Guess he doesn't realize how much he's done?
I hope you dehydrate also! It's a great way of storing food when space is limited or you run out of freezer space. It's also a wonderful way of incorporating veggies & vitamins into your daily cooking where the actual veggie might not fit. I dehydrate greens & veg from everything & grind into powders to make my own seasonings.
Life is more important than a beautiful garden....you guys are doing a terrific job. Love your channel.
We struggled with late frosts also but managed to save the veggies, unfortunately my flowers got hit hard. I'm hoping for a good harvest if I can keep the deer out. Usually I don't have a deer problem we are in the middle of suburbia. Last night a little herd moved through eating the tomatoes, beans, etc and then moved on to all my phlox and a few other munchies. Picked up the animal repellent today and will put it out as soon as the rain passes. Happy gardening! It's always something.
Thank you so much for sharing everything going on in the garden. Some time I get overwhelmed thinking I'm doing everything wrong. For some reason when you said just plant something and if it doesn't work out I'm only out a couple bucks made me just relax and realize it's ok, I'm learning and that's just as important. THANK YOU.
You guys have so much time left of your growing season, no need to be discouraged. I planted potatoes today. I usually plant late May , I still hope I’ll have some tiny ones before winter sets in in October 😊
Planted my kale an chard starts today too.
Going to start som radishes and spinach too.
The tomatoes in the greenhouse lost its first flowers due to unusual heat( 80s)
The cucumber have some tiny baby cuces, and the peppers are coming along I still have hope. Even planted some beans today just to try...
doing it the Rhodes way “just plant”
Wonderful tour of yalls garden and Meg true I have been gardening for years and I have never had a perfect garden in all my years of gardening but I can tell you even as old as I am I learned something new each year and I think we will never know it all ,we learn something new in each year each season is different . And just think how many years of gardening y'all will have on yalls beautiful Homestead and you'll learn something new each year and each season I wish you a very Bountiful Harvest .Thank y'all for sharing God Bless sweet friends LOVE Y'ALL .
Having gardened in the piedmont of North Carolina for years, this year is a very odd year. I opted for smaller portions in containers and I am happy so far. I will be sowing direct to ground this weekend with a full garden. The growing season will extend this year about 45 days beyond normal. So, we will see what produces. Sometimes you just have to change it up and take a chance.
I think your gardens are beautiful. Like you said it's a new place, new climate, new home.
This is my second year of veggie gardening and it's a mix of good and bad. The yellow pear tomato I had last year that just kept giving fruit hasn't done anything. I have four purple Cherokee tomatoes(fruit not plants)and I have eaten one tomato this morning which was sweet and glorious. : ) I've had several orange lunch box peppers and two yellow bell peppers which I've eaten. I didn't get a single cucumber to fruit and very few green beans, not enough to even cook up. But I am learning, I want to plant a lot more plants of fewer varieties...well, maybe just a lot more plants. I know I started late and the intense heat has had something to do with the cucumbers not doing well. I've still got sweet potatoes and one sick looking watermelon which is just a vine but it fills up space nicely. : ) God Bless.
Hi there guys, don’t be so hard on yourselves. You have accomplished heaps. Your building your home, wifey is growing a beautiful baby, you both are learning soooo much and you have your growing children. Hey if you have some different greens, potatoes and different other veggies. Meat well enough said. Re the bugs:- I did a bit of research for another site and as it is an inexpensive solution I’m sharing it with a few of the sites I visit. Bugs can be eracated with a cup full of Epson’s salts in 5 gallons of water. Buy the Epson’s Salts at a produce store. Apparently the solution is great for the veggies and will kill bugs at the same time. Till next time All my love, Ellen. From Australia.
You where talking about a closed loop system and saying that you didn’t have one because you were having to bring in seed, but with your stuff that’s going to seed.... let one or two go all the way and let them dry out then you have more than enough seed for next year. As long as it’s a variety that you want to grow again. The same with tomato’s and other fruiting crops, let them go to full maturity on the vine, over ripe if you will and then harvest the seeds. Dry out the seeds for a day or so on a piece of paper towel and then package them up with the name and date! 👩🏻🌾👩🏻🌾👩🏻🌾👩🏻🌾👩🏻🌾
As long as you’re not selling them you really don’t need to worry about the whole cross pollination thing, but if you’re really interested in that our good friend Jess (Roots and Refuge) has a video on how to make sure you can get seeds from a tomato that is closes to other varieties and not have it get cross pollinated. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
One thing you might enjoy is collecting the radish seed pods and putting them in salad. They are really yummy and add a nice radishy spice to a salad. They are good eaten in the garden too.
Enjoyed your tour. Justin and Art and Bri covered their cabbage and broccoli with netting because the beetles are so bad. Their gardens did great.
Have watched you since you just bought the place. Thinking back to when the Rhodes, Sow The Land, Fit Farmer, and all came when you first began ripping out the old stuff in the trailer, contrast that with how close you are now! Prep some new beds when you get a chance, just cover them with mulch (whatever you mow or pull down) because you will no doubt expand next year, and it will have added it's own layer of compost. Love your beautiful family!
You two are the coolest. I enjoy your comments so much. Thanks!
Great garden y'all!! Nothin' better than eatin' fresh fruit or veggies from the garden right in
the garden!! I wish i'd planted some okrie but lack of space!!
*Have a good'nnn*
Enjoyed the garden tour....you are growing your garden, your family, your housing! You are doing great! God bless y’all and stay safe and healthy!
some years, there are certain plants that do really well and some that don't and then it's different the next year. the temperature, rainfall amount, location.....trial and error. but again...such fun and anything produced is wonderful!
I like that you are real about the garden. Lots of folks here in NC had a difficult season, but we usually do better the following year! Hang in there!!!❤️. Darla in NC
If you or someone you know drinks from aluminum cans, you can cut tags from them, and scribe/emboss the variety in the thin metal. It won't wash off that way, and you can reuse them next year for varieties you like.
As a life long gardener...every year is an experiment and a learning experience...roll with and find what works for you...go with what works..js..btw I'm 59...been innthe garden since I was 5
You are doing great. You are setting your priorities first. Home baby animals food. Your doing awesome. There is always next year . It does matter what anyone else thinks. You do for your family. I enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing.
Late frost and early freeze has so greatly affected gardens here in the middle of Michigan. I planted okra for the first time it's two feet tall I've harvested around six. Very yummy. Love your family and videos. I'm going through and watching the ones I somehow missed.
Y’all are really doing good...life happens . In a few years y’all are going to be so far from where you are now ! But look where you are now compared to a year ago ! Just love y’all...be blessed ,
I've been watching some of the garden tours, and everything is tidy and organized. I look at your garden, and it is not like that at all. I am not criticizing you at all. I love it. You will have lots of food, and you'll have the mobile home ready, and a baby ready. You've helped out friends by doing siding and making chicken tractors and growing chickens for them, and they will help you when you need to harvest them and they think of you when they find big bags of onion starters at the discount grocery. And no one will make better use of onions than you in their cooking and eating this year. Love to all of you.
