@@PeteHager Hey bro, I just bought a new "2024 Yamaha Raptor 700R SE 69th Anniversary Edition" it has the GYTR front grab bar, rear grab bar, front & back GYTR Suspension, & the big bore kit, & more that all came stock with the SE version, AKA= Special Edition. But I am definitely gonna put a "FAST FLEX HANDLEBAR" on it, but i also wanted to put a new full exhaust & a new full intake, & obviously when you pit a new intake & exhaust on pretty much everything you will definitely want to get it tuned, but this baby only has less than 1 mile on it, so i don't know if I should wait for the 10-20hours of the break in period then put the new exhaust, intake, & tune, before I break it in, or afterwards??? Any help would be greatly appreciated, even brands that would be best for this specific bike, which because it is a "2024 Yamaha Raptor 700R SE 69th Anniversary Edition" I don't even know if anyone has created a exhaust, intake, & ect... for this because its brand new off the showroom floor at the dealership, its just so new that even the lucky people who got w chance to but one they are keeping it completely stock, & not doing anything to it, but i already knew that I was going to make it at least 50+ inches wide, & at least an extra 6-8 inches longer, & then the "Fast Flex Bars" & the exhaust, intake, & tune, but this is the first brand new bike ive ever bought, i used to just buy slightly used quads, bikes, sleds, etc but I don't know if i should add the intake & exhaust, & tune before or after the 10-20hours of the break in period, so any help would be greatly appreciated please & thank you!!!
Man i hate that im so behind on your videos Pete! But i declare this needs more views because making such a video was aloooot of work and i appreciate all you did to make it! I declare your Raptor is one sick looking quad! Lol ill never get over that Red and then all your upgrades take it to another level! Lol but wow! The light comparison from stock all the way to the v2 and light bar is crazy! Lol it was like day time! Lol again thanks for all the hard work in showing us the differences!
Great video Pete. In my testing and experience the version 1s and 2s. The 2's actually have more light output on low beams and a better pattern to be able to see wider and in front of you. More like the pattern of a modern pickup truck led headlights I would categorize it as. The version 2 high beams then project further down the trail then the version ones high beams did. Overall I think the version 2s are a much better light for light output.
Man them headlights are so nice on a raptor I didn’t know that resto quad made to different always on designs on the lights there both so nice. It’s awesome you bring attention to the guys that really made the lights and deserve the recognition your videos are 100% as always. One day some how either ima make it up to badlands to ride with you or if you announce a date you ride Hatfield and McCoy it would be awesome to meet and ride
Wow! This video is amazing! Thank you so much for the in depth explanations! We really appreciate everything you offer to the sport quad community! You're a staple! Much love 💪🏽🏁🚀🚀
Hi pete thank you for doing awesome videos i have been watching your videos since day one and I just pick up my new 2024 raptor 700r sc so that's again ride safe my brother 🙏
@@joeytonetti2519 I can see about including it in future content. It’s super easy to hook up. It comes with its own switch and it’s just hard wired with a positive and negative terminal at the battery
@PeteHager perfect,I bought my 2024 raptor because of watching your videos, rode one in 23 and fell in love with the power it had,I already did the mod quad v2 headlights, ordered the lonestar mount and got the rigid 10in lightbar today, also installing the cuervo racing early on fan switch
Awesome comparison! I run the DRL circuit on a toggle switch so that I can switch between white or amber on the fly depending on the vibe. I’ll see you at the badlands!!
I had some expenses come up so I grabbed some extra work with a friend. I'm still going to be making videos. I also run our website so that takes extra time as well. Hoping to spend more time editing in the coming weeks 😁
I hava Baja Designs 8 inch on my yfz and a Rigid light bar on my Ltr both really nice and super bright for the money tho I think the Rigid is the best bang for the buck I think I paid $210 the Baja was like $350 neither are really cheap but imo lighting is crucial for night riding in the dunes and not were in wanna cheap out at
Awesome feedback! The Baja Designs lights looked sick. I think I ended up going with Rigid due to them being a bit cheaper. I hope to night ride Glamis someday! 🤘
Nice video man. I Have bought some of your items for my rappy, great products. More curious how the engine setup is doing for you? Thinkin about kinda going the same route over winter. Currently big 3, 100 gas and cuervo tuned, loving it. Hopefully catch up 1 day and ride. Badlands and around indiana usually but bout to go to silver lake soon and back to buttercup around thanksgiving. Planning a stop in Oklahoma, heard its bad ass put there to ride also. (Dunes i believe in OK). Thanks again
Thanks! I'd say my chassis probably has around 250 hours on it. I had my motor redone around 125 hours. There's an older dyno video that explains the rebuild on my channel from a couple seasons ago. If you have any specific questions relating to the hours or motor just let me know 👍
I know the brewers spliced their DRL's into the headlight toggle switch wiring. I could send you the video Jake sent me if you want to email petehagermedia@gmail.com 👍

The light bar mount is cool but idk if i could make it work with the factory stem? I have a 7 inch light bar with clamps on my handlebars that works good but thinking of changing it to that bracket you have.

Do all year Raptor 700r have the same headlight mounts as in will all lights fit all years for the 700r? Also do you use a thunder box or anything to dumb down all the power from all the lights and or add ons?
How tall do the flags have to be at bad lands? And do you have to hace a flag or can you use a led whip with a flag and if so how tall does tge whip need to be? New 2024 raptor 700r se owner here!
@@Weber1987 the headlight mounts should be the same for all Raptor 700 model years. The headlights are plug and play for your high/low beam. You have to run the provided white wires from the headlight to the fuse box to power the DRL’s. Otherwise some people have spliced the DRL’s into their headlight switch. The last option is to get the street legal harness which comes with the DRL plug, horn, handlebar switch, and the outlet to add rear turn signals. I’m not running an add on like a thunder box. My light bar is hard wired to my battery. The power draw seems to be just fine as long as the machine is running. You can leave the V2 headlight’s on with the key on and they have a very small power draw. If I leave my lightbar on without the machine running it’ll drain my battery in minutes so I only use it while riding. The whip height at the badlands isn’t as tall as some of the dune areas. They sell flags on site and they’re pretty cheap, like $20. I would just buy a flag there and then you’ll for sure be good. I’ve seen the LED whips being used there. Generally they’re not very tall so I’m not sure about running one on a quad. They have excellent customer service so you can always call ahead and confirm some of these questions 😊👍
