Thank you so much for doing these kind of video sir... You have no idea how much u helped me... U teach better than my lecture thanks a lot god bless u
I didn't understand what you meant by Double articulation, please try to find another way in order to explain it clearly, by the way you do a good job, good teacher, keep going. 👍🏻
in language you have two kinds of units meaningless and meaningful meaningless is when you pronounce sounds in isolation like in the word book you pronounce it like this /b/ /u/ /k/ (here they are pronounced alone and they are in isolation they do not have meaning as if i am going to meet you outside and i'll tell you /b/ it makes no sense of course but then you have meaningful it is those isolated sounds above combined together to form words like /buk/ book not /b/ /u/ /k/ that's double articulation
Thank you for this, Sir. I am struggling in my class because of many books that I should look into. but I am blessed to see your videos. I learned so much. more power! May I ask, what textbook are you using? thanks
A pictogram is a symbol that conveys meaning through its resemblance to a physical object. ... Ideograms are graphical symbols that represent an idea or concept.
In didactic it's called notion simplification, using the word communicate is the easiest way to transmit the message. (weighing the understanding and the terminology)
Well this is much better than 3 textbooks
Intrinsic design of human language is nearly 100 percent articulation of thought, nothing like that in the animal world...got it!
