This past April of 2020 I bought a Ford Transit van. It has 93,000 miles on it. This is the best replacement podcast that I've seen. Thanks!
I just took my 2018 Fort Transit to the Ford dealer for an oil change. They said that I would soon need to replace the air filter on it. I was afraid to ask what they would charge seeing that it IS a dealership, so I though I would give good ole YT a try. YOU SIR, I wish I could send you a beer. This was a GREAT instructional video. I'm sure that I just saved some money while learning something new @ the same time. Thank you VERY MUCH!
Really good simply said step by step instruction ! No funny skits or bs. Just bought a 2016 transit 250. Going to go change it now . Thanks !
I was struggling and struggling. 1:36 of your video and 2 minutes later it was in and done. Thanks
Thanks man. That was a perfect demo. I just replaced my filter using these tips.
Thank you, you are really clear and explicit, gifted teacher
Yes, I agree, excellent clear instruction, pointing out the obstacles, made I SO much easier. Thenks filter man!
Thank you very much Sir! I was struggling with this. Your video made it really simple. I appreciate it!
Your video was very helpful, but my 2020 Transit 350 HD had more challenges in replacing the air filter. I had an AC line in the way that prevented complete removal of the filter cover, and I had to cut some wire ties securing the cable to the air flow sensor and also remove the bracket that held the windshield washer fluid fill line. I still couldn’t figure out how to completely remove the housing, but could only lift it up to barely switch filters. I’ll do better next time but definitely not an easy task. Poor design, but great for those who like puzzles.
Great video very simple and very detailed on every single item on the vehicle
I just want to say thank you sir .
You’re welcome!
Thanks for the video , very very helpful , I had to watch it in order to change my air filter, thanks again, great job .
Good job, just checked out my 2019 Transit XLT T350. No plug in on the top of the box cover but your video was Right On.
Thanks for your patience detailing step by step
Easy and Fast explanation, thanks.
Good info, I just ordered the part via the affiliate link to say thank you.
Very helpful, well done, Excellent!
Excellent video!
Exelente explicación me sirvió de mucho
Very useful.
Interesting. My 2019 was different and different from other 2019 vans too. Mine has a small plastic tab that is an addition to the 2 metal spring and no sensor in the filter housing. Thank you for the help though !
Yes my Transit 150 had the same, no sensor wire.
I had a hard time removing the upper box out of the engine bay even after unscrewing the washer fluid refill clamp.
Poor design by Ford all around.
I think Ford should have made this process harder. We all know they could! Seriously though, I've never had a harder time replacing an engine air filter. I have a sudden urge to play Tetris.
When i see the new filters there looks to b a black like (charcoal filter maybe) rectangle pad does this go in under the new filter. Under meaning into the air box 1st and then the air filter itself?
Is there a cold air intake out for the transit yet?
Great video.
Have to say, this is way too much work to replace an air filter.
Swear I'm regretting my Transit purchase a little more every day.
This was not much work at all ... I did it just like he did and in around 10 minutes. It is as easy at he says and does. Several other videos made it look very difficult; this video proved is it not.
