I don't know how you sat that 📷camera down in there, but it was a perfect angle for a comprehensive learning experience. Thanks, bro. Workin' on a 2019 Transit 350HD 3.5 Turbo myself.
@@EverythingApax oh, just changing the air filter for the first time - thanks to your video And also changing my oil - using AMSOil and oil filter. Next week I’ll be changing out my coolant overflow reservoir to the Dormans Reservoir - they got the metal inserts in the nipples and that should ensure no leaks from those areas. Will change the vent hose at the same time too.
@@EverythingApax Ok, just finished my air filter install...well sorta. Everything went smoothly UNTIL I got to the part where I just needed to seat it the housing in place and snap all 3 clips (2 in the front and the main clip top right side. THE DAMN THING WOULD NOT SEAT CORRECTLY! I spent at least an hour trying to put a top on a container. It wasn't seating right to where I had a 360 degree seal. Oh I can half ass it and have the back tilted up and then clip everything in the front. But that ain't right. I finally seated it properly at the back BUT THE FRONT WONT CLIP CLOSED PROPERLY WITHOUT USING A HAMMER! SO, I just clipped the right clip in the front and then tried the other front left one but that left one is too hard to get to for the amount of force you need to apply. So, had to leave that one loose. Then the main clip that you push back then push down to let it friction pop into place. Nope, had to push down on it so hard the clip broke. So, the housing is hanging on by one clip. Ford quality at its best. Love it. And this is with a FoMoCo part!
Mr Allen, Nice to see you. “Smack the shit out of it” that is a technical term correct? Your videos are always spot on. Insight and direct with No Sugar Coating. Your kind of expertise is needed by many.
We are very Happy to have you back with us in 2020. I was just poking fun at you 😁 but I will be watching and rooting for your safety and success in 2020, And also picking up every ounce of knowledge you drop on us.
My 2019 was different, no sensor in the filter housing and there was a plastic tab on the filter housing in addition to the metal spring clips. Odd how Ford changes these things. My van is a 3.7l na. Thank you ! The hammer was not needed in my case but I had it beside me :-)
@oldwortex5818 - Yeah, the 3.7 liter is a different video lol. And a different air filter and design. Doesn't have that extra part hanging off of it like the 3.5-liter engines.
I did transmission flush and coolant flush. If you are able to pull one of your plugs and see how they're holding up. Rearend fluid replacement or at least a flush. I put full synthetic fluid in it
Off Topic, but I noticed that Flying Js (not Pilot) TAs and Petros usually have ample parking for Expeditors. I’m specifically talking about the Flying Js that were built before the Pilot merger, The newer streamlined Flying Js built after the merger have limited expeditor parking.
Anything. Maybe setup and everything. Has business picked up? I do rv and truck driveaway. Might need a change soon. Looking at tryhours. Live in Massillon oh. Seen tim twice coming home at same time as me. Lol

I did in my Econoline. I quit using one because I had read they allow more debris and dirt which is harmful obviously. I need to do more research on that topic.
I bought a 2019 and want to learn how to take care of it. Thank you, this was easy to follow.
Which version? 3.5 ecoboost? Extended Length? Specs to my van are in the description.

I agree completely. It's not often the newer ones have good parking. 👍🏻
@@EverythingApax I miss the old flying Js. 😞
Thank you sir!! Looked easy :-)
Pretty easy but no videos on Transit stuff so simply trying to help.
Nice van. Hey do a van review. How long you have a ford?
Thank you. What would you like to hear in the review? I've ran the Transit since june 17 but before that had a ford econoline for 5 years.
