I have a Vantage and it’s my only car. It’s very practical, loads of space, more than fast enough. The R8 would be a royal pain in the arse as a daily driver here in the UK due to the low ground clearance, poor visibility and very exposed front splitter. Plus, it’s an Audi, not an Aston.
The Audi R8 Spyder is a very nice daily driver and I'm sure anyone would like either car as a daily driver but the Audi R8 in my option is theconly choice. I may be a LIL bias with the R8 because of the handling and the acceleration and many other things but all i can say is "WOW"
I would settle for the Aston Martin. I like a little more refined as opposed to all that power from the R8. Great video, Tom!

I have the Aston and a Tesla! Both are great daily’s. While I love the new R8 body, it’s a baby Huracan for the same price. My Aston gets 26mpg on the highway.

The Aston is way more exotic and rare. More comfortable ride in standard mode. And if you want more power just get a tune for $2500
If we are going to pretend money is no issue, IO will take both. I will drive the Aston Martin for comfort and the Audi R8 when I am running late. LOL

Can I make a suggestion? All the “digital” editing is distracting and actually detracts from your content. The scene transitions actually make my eyes hurt casting the video to my TV. Same with the weird effects when doing the drone shots over the house and both cars.
