This has never been one of my favorite AOL songs, but it’s a popular choice and they are in phenomenal form here. Would’ve preferred Web in Front (duh), White Trash Heroes (duh again), or You and Me + Might, or Density.
This is awesome. I watched it a couple times and I'm just blown away by the sound they pull off live...its better than the CD version and that never happens.
In the 90s I shared a distro company with these guys in Australia, I’m a lifelong fan. We missed out on the support slots but whilst in Melbourne at the same time we got a call from the label asking if the Archers could borrow our gear for an invite only daytime in-store. Lol yes. But they made our gear sound incredible, otherworldly professional and just amazing. It was a masterclass, these guys would probably create the same energy on bongos. such a great memory of mine and despite years of tryimg my amp never sounded as good as when Eric played it. The harmonic richness of their collective is really unheralded, at full volume in your face it’s mind blowing.
That is pretty fucking awesome man. I was in chapel Hill in the mid 90s. They were huge. They one of the first punk bands I heard, this kid there I met introduced me to punk rock and these guys were one of the first. Superchunk was another. The 90s was great for rock music and oh fuck I would like my dad talking about 60s rock. Lol
Really wished I coulda seen these guys live. Showed up to a crooked fingers show late and they were already packing up the van. Did get to see Superchunk and Jennyanykind though.
I graduated from high school in ‘97, having been on our school radio station, playing the Replacements, Husker Du, the Neckbones...good lord, how did I miss these guys the first time around???
I was the one that got bullied off the site after seeing the "I can't sneed" image of the yellow simpsons character crushing george floyd's neck in-between his yellow buttcheeks, with people also telling me I will never be a woman. 41% just became 42%
Bring back weird, loud rock music. This is just incredible.
Now more than ever.
Archers of Loaf have aged like a fine wine.
Bass player still energetic as ever.

Tight as a duck's arse! Blistering performance!!
Man, their playing is so incredibly tight here. It's beautiful.
this is the BEST song I've ever heard.
Did you see it here first? It's such a great song.
That guitar looks like a toy in erics hands lol

ONE, NOTHING WRONG WITH SNEED
TWO, NOTHING WRONG WITH SNEED
It amazes me out of all the times I’ve seen them play since about 1994 that the Jimmy Fallon show is where I believe they rocked the hardest
Yeah, they are in great form here. Best classic AOL performance for me was headlining the VANISH festival in Durham NC many years ago.
Archers of Loaf have so much more to offer. Don't stop digging.
What can you recommend?
Saw them two nights ago and boy o boy do they still got it. Amazing
I am ever reminded how giant a human being Eric Bachmann is.
I still remember him as that scrawny guy from the old Cats Cradle days.
In every sense of the word
Wtf bro.
As my buddy once said perfectly… He puts the *_oaf_* in _*Loaf*._ 🖤
I just love how tiny the guitar looks compared to his body.
Amazing, you can feel the energy coming through the screen.
Good lord.
Where's my enbie gf?

This is such an incredible performance. They are so incredibly tight! We are all so lucky these guys found each other.
These guys and the other under-appreciated rock bands of the 90s make groups like Imagine Dragons and Twenty-One Pilot look like jokes
Punk nation
Check out: Superchunk, Polvo, Small 23, Capsize 7, etc.
@@lunarvision Polvo is great
One sneed, to seed and feed
I love the background guitar over the chorus on the record version. Best part of the song imo.
There are no words to express how much I love this. Cheers, guys from another OG Chappy
Good thick neck on the lad. Need that if you're gonna go the shaven headed route. I have no such privilege.
Wow Fantastic!
Saw them play Brownies on Ave A in LES NYC in early 90s...epic Memories 🙂
Actual bingo?
Man I love these guys
rock a vote
Absolutely smashing it 🤩

How good were the spinanes
Jeez, haven’t heard Jennyanykind since seeing their graffiti so many years ago. That’s a super deep cut.
I saw Archer's many times in the 90's, and this performance gave me goose bumps. They still got it!
Gentling out here eating the amazing energy like it’s Sunday breakfast

You should get into Polvo as well, in case you missed them. Same pantheon as Archers.
B. M. Will give them a listen. Thanks for the recommendation
T R of course. I hope you enjoy it.
@@b.m.8547 already am and am enjoying them. I def remember the name of the album Today's Active Lifestyles
T R That’s great!
Roll on Oct 21, 2022 when Reason in Decline is released although I'm a little gutted that the late 2022 tour will not include Aotearoa (NZ).
Always loved the lead guitar work and tones in this band. Its fresh
Polvo has a similar tone. Must be something in the Chapel Hill water
How many times can I like this?
every bands dream Bass player
CAROLINA STYLE
Was this at the Haw River Ballroom?
I just finished watching GG Allin. This archers band is good, but it could use a little blood.
