WoW I thought all of the Orange Julius Stands where gone. My Dad was a BIG fan. If we went by one we would always stop and he would tell us about the time he was at the Worlds Fare. Thanks for the memories.
No problem . A lot of Dairy Queen’s still sell them but according to what I read even they are phasing them out . SoCal doesn’t have many of these stand alone versions so found it pretty exciting .
A part of my past, the Orange Julius! That was always the place to go when going to the mall as a kid. Orange Julius, Hot Dog on a Stick & Spencer Gifts. LOL ... Thanks Adam!❤
My local mall had an Aladdin's Castle arcade in the basement directly below the food court. Spent a considerable portion of my youth there in the late 80s/early 90s. Definitely drank a few Orange Julius and ate some Sbarro's pizza.
I thought that perusing referred specifically to books and reading. Can it's meaning include, encompass, the act of observing a space, place or situation?
I loved Orange Julius as a kid. Thanks for bringing those old memories back. Good times! I got to say that you always put a smile on my face and that means a lot in these difficult times. I look forward to you vlogs. Just wanted to say Thank you!

I haven't had one in a long time but did see there is still one not too far from me, just one town over at the still barn shaped Dairy Queen.
Oh I could go for one of those right about now. It’s toasty here in London, UK, not in California terms but for me certainly 🥵. I love how you are indirectly promoting these little places that are past their glory days but still going strong. Wonder if any of them have had a rush of customers who had watched it on here and they are left wondering why the heck are we so busy today 🤣. Great job Adam 👍.
Orange Julius got me the moment they opened in the country I used to live & along the pathway of my walk to my bus ride. So it became my frequent stop to quench my thirst from the hot weather. The best!

Adam!!!!!! I have been craving these for over a year, thought they were all gone! I’m going tomorrow and dragging a friend. The orange and pina colada are good! Orange Julius has always been a secret. They are the best. I didn't know that place existed, but now that I know, I will check them out. Thanks Adam, for letting us know.
In the late summer of 1965, while taking a break between our two-a-day high school football practices in Long Beach, a few of my teammates and I would go over to the Orange Julius shop at the Lakewood Mall to replenish lost fluids. Great stuff!
I grew up in Westminster, living there from 1959 to 1967. They actually built an Orange Julius about two blocks from my house around 1966. I loved their drink. Ah, childhood memories from a now old fart !
I remember going to the mall when I was a kid in the mid late 80s early 90s Orange Julius was always at every Mall. we would save up our money and go to the mall and on the weekends to play at the arcade or see a movie, window shop. Then we'd stop by the toy stores and see what new games they had out or the hobby store for D&D. We would always stop by in Orange Julius and get a drink I love the '80s
I miss the standalone versions, which sold hot dogs and other goodies. I remember the Orange Julius in my hometown's mall (Vintage Faire Mall, Modesto, CA), the store was surrounded by a clear frame, which had oranges in it. As a kid, I thought that was the coolest thing in the world. My favorite thing to get was an original Orange Julius, along with a pizza dog (with pizza sauce, pepperoni, and melted cheesy goodness on it). They eventually merged with DQ, and I assume the hot dogs went away with the merge. They still sold them at my mall, but I haven't seen them in other OJ/DQ hybrids, so I assume the hot dogs were eventually phased out of my local mall as well.
When I saw the title I knew exactly where you were going - the Westminster Mall! So glad to see they are still there. I have such good memories of Orange Julius going back to the 1950's. As a treat my Dad would take us into downtown Los Angeles just to look around (back when it was clean and the shopping experience). I remember there was a Orange Julius stand in the basement of the May Co. and I would always get one. Then in the late 50's or early 60's the stand alones started popping up and I could not believe I could get one near my home whenever I wanted. Also at one point their logo was a little red devil with a pitchfork and it was a "devilish good drink". And the secret to the Orange Julius is the powder - it's what gives it its frothy texture. When things settle down I need to make a trip to the Westminster Mall!!!
WoW I thought all of the Orange Julius Stands where gone.
My Dad was a BIG fan. If we went by one we would always stop and he would tell us about the time he was at the Worlds Fare.

from a now old fart !
Yes Adam, a cream sickle is pretty close, and they were fantastic back in 1960s. Miss it a lot.
I grew up drinking Orange Julius. Love those. All the Dairy Queen restaurants in Texas have them, as far as I’ve seen.
I remember Orange Julius' throughout Florida malls as a kid. Loved it. Stay Safe Adam and has a great day.
We had Orange Julius at Century III Mall in West Mifflin, Pa. I had one, around 1983. They were good.
