@@hugodogobob that's what I'm saying. Of course it's not as good as studio. But just because it's not as good as studio doesn't mean it's "meh". I like to get to know a voice like it's a personality.
@@nickwhite2569 that goes the same for me! I almost fell in love with this girl when I heard this song haha. But then I heard this I also felt very disappointed because of the realisation that everything had to be modified on the computer for her to sound like that... And this is reality. Will you still find Slash an good guitarist if you find out he can't play any of the solos on the album live?
@@marchinbest641 well it doesn't necessarily mean that a bunch of studio production artificially modified her voice to sound like that. She probably CAN sound just like the album live! But before recording in studio, there's weeks of preparation and you can pick and choose all the best sounding parts and fit them together. She may have just been having an off day at the time of this show :)
She can def hit them, check out the performance at mama roux's, Birmingham. Fair play to them, I'm not a big emo fan but just picked up the vinyl and I'm enjoying this lot.
This is correct... This video that Dave is talking about is an acoustic version but in the same key. She's fairly spot on with the notes: ua-cam.com/video/bbIBu3KakiI/v-deo.html
saw the comments... what is so great about her voice? she is off tune in high as well as low notes... some might say this is what live performance sounds like... i strongly disagree.
Have you not been to a show before? Most of the time it's not the same sounding.... just saying I've seen very few bands where live sounded like the studio produced version just enjoy the damn music
@@ajmullins5217 oh yes I did! Metallica, iron maiden, jorn lande, behemoth, decapitated, tears for fears, simply red, alter bridge, the list goes on and on! And of course there is a difference in sound between the album version and live! Only she is completely off tune with almost every note here, you can't deny that! In my opinion music is about making good music, not the pretty picture
@@marchinbest641 I don't think she's consistently out of tune necessarily. There were some bum notes but mostly it's dynamics issues. Maybe she hasn't had any professional instruction? Mic technique is non existent and she seems to really struggle when she's belting both in terms of tone and pitch. Definitely needs work on that end of her range
I mean....let's think here....ppl have good days and bad days....she made the recording so she can obviously sing...and I can hear her sound exCly the same live. It's just not thru a condenser mic...so its never going to sound the same live.
So i love this kinda music, but Steph did not have a verry good performance this time. Alot of of-tune and flat singing. The band did good however. To bad the show was reccoreded with a potato.
Amazing performances!!!!
Greywind is these kids’ evanescence they better appreciate 🐺🐺
Im here cause of the gram
Sorry people. You don't understand what live music sounds like. This is a phenomenal performance.
Nah man, I've been in bands and yeah most local bands are like this. Great studio but meh live.

@@marchinbest641 and no. Slash BETTER be able to play those solos live!
Amazing vocals on album damn !!
Fuckin killed it, their levels were wonky but the energy filtering and swelling through them my god what a team. That was a badass way to end the set

Greywind 🖤💋✍️ Amazing
I like
Good performance
“This is what an Irish emo band sounds like” hahaha
Ripped off “all around me” by flyleaf lol
vocals a bit dry compared to the instruments thats why it sounds a bit odd

2k15
almost high pitch,atleast she tried
Idd amazing vocals on the album! But live?.. my god...

I agree. Just needed a half step up at the end. I do the same thing sometimes and it sucks😂
