Good on you... For us Benz and BMW guys a trip to find parts is even more interesting than a wander around the auction yard, which we also enjoy. The video is not lame... thanks for taking us on this trip!
@just4kicks950 I know what you mean, you might have a grandson one day, that's if we still have the yards in the future, to walk around and pick parts from.
Love the new intro Mike! I haven't been able to browse junk yards for a long time. My local town has a few, but they don't allow people to browse or pull their own parts.
Hi Mike glad the work in the Escalade is paying off I love love the wagons nice fix on the signals and turn signals Hello to Lola and the ducks the wagons videos are great I was skeptical of the Escalade but it’s coming together nicely as well thanks and enjoy your weekend 😊
Oooo I love this! I want to see a day in the life of AAR too! Keep it up Mike! Nice new intro thing!! Also love how you stopped the esclade, hope you fix it!
@@MonkeyWrenchMike If you check the specs they are only rated for temperatures to 257° and the solder melts at 280°. so unless they are getting close to that temp it would be fine.
You can post rewiring videos, just bleep out the cuss words. LOL. I would even watch videos of Lola frolicking in the back yard! Good luck with all your many projects.
Love videos like this! Hate bike videos! I agree 1000%, LKQ is NOW extraordinarily expensive! I hate you have to now buy any warranty! Much respect from NC!
Yay, you changed your intro!!! HEY MIKEY, when a bulb is burned out the signal flashes faster so you can know one of them is out. You said "it's up for the first time".... Sounds like a personal issue to me lol.
You might have some grounds missing, if you notice the oil pressure gauge goes straight to 3 whith the ignition on and engine off, which of course isn't right.
@@MonkeyWrenchMike absolutely not 😂 but I have connections I can probably get it shipped to you for under $500. Give it some thought, I really hate to scrap it there are very few grey market W124s in the US as far as I know. Red cloth heated seat interior super rare!
X on the parts car that you just took parts off of what the headlights and grill fit the Disco inferno is that front end look for me as the same headlights in better?
Great to finally have a proper monkey video again! Please take us with you to the pull apart again! Much better than those tragic walk around videos and bike videos

Going to junkyards on parts searches for a guy, is like an Easter Egg hunt to a child.
Nailed it
Great video Mike!
Hi to Lola and the Duckies!
Stay safe.
Your videos are never ever lame Mike i personally don't mind or care if they're 5mins or 50mins long i shall be watching and enjoying them 👍🏼
Thank you!
I have fond memories of me & my dad going to the junkyards 🙂 RIP Pop's 😔. Thanks 🐵🔧Mike for the trip to the parts yard 🎬🙆👍. Salute 😎✌️
Yeah, they were special times indeed
@@paulie-Gualtieri. I was hoping to share them kind of memories with my son . I ended up with 3 girls though 🤔 lol. Go figure 🙂

Love the new intro, Mike! Also the junkyard walk arounds are awesome.
Going to the junkyard with you is cool.🙂
Hello Lola and duckies. Be safe and careful.🙂👍🙏
Like the yard walk around 🎉
Like the search of parts in the junkyard, and a nice intro.
Love a junk yard walk round. I’ve also become slightly obsessed with pick n pull runs into Washington from Vancouver 😮
I love the new intro Mike 👍🙂👍
This brings up fond memories of going to the junkyard with my dad (RIP), and in later years with my son.
Mike! I like your new intro! 🙂
Really like the new intro🎉
I like junk yard visits as a nice change from Copart walk arounds
Thanks for letting us know why you hadn't released a car fix/rebuild video in awhile.
Nice job on getting parts for the other car and getting it fixed up too. Keep up the great work.
Any videos you do are brilliant Mike
"It's simply too much for me too screw out!" Excellent new intro!
Happy Saturday Mike!
Hi Mike glad the work in the Escalade is paying off I love love the wagons nice fix on the signals and turn signals
Hello to Lola and the ducks the wagons videos are great I was skeptical of the Escalade but it’s coming together nicely as well thanks and enjoy your weekend 😊
Combo Relays were a common fail point, many folks kept a spare in tje glovebox or spare tire area. Just an FYI to look in those areas
Hello Mike i love how you invent new words and sayings.
Great video like always Mike!🤠👍🏻🍻
Nice to see you picking up parts for the cars, where i live in Sweden it´s very rare you can pick the parts from the cars by your own.
Slow progress but baby steps is good. A lot of work but you have patience.
Oooo I love this! I want to see a day in the life of AAR too! Keep it up Mike! Nice new intro thing!! Also love how you stopped the esclade, hope you fix it!
Hey hey Mike
Good morning Sir. Good to see you again.🙂👍
I figured that wiring was going to take awhile.
The intro is killing me ding ding ding😆😅
Glad you got that SOB rat in the end.
Good luck buddy
I'm in the car lol 😂 u need to do more junk yard videos
Hey I am new to your channel and been enjoying it very much just wish they were longer anyway keep up the great work
Thanks!!
You’re doing a great job on your wagon. I don’t doubt you’ll have her running well at some time. Very good parts picking 👍😎 Happy Thanksgiving 🇨🇦
I love going to the junkyard because it is a treasure trove of parts and cars that you hardly seen on the road today.
i like the soldering heat shrink ones better that you can use a torch or heat gun until the solder melts.
I bought those but I’m worried heat from the engine would make them let go!

Them seats basically are covers they come off
great new intro!
Blinkers and antenna work. Woo hoo🙂👍
Cool 😀

Hello Mike aka Monkey Wrench Mike. Taking the Cadillac Escalade to the salvage yards for parts for the Wonder Wagon and Rat Wagon.
Mike my 87 grey market 300E is still waiting for you free of charge!
Would she make the drive home?? Lol!! 😅😅😅
@@MonkeyWrenchMike absolutely not 😂 but I have connections I can probably get it shipped to you for under $500. Give it some thought, I really hate to scrap it there are very few grey market W124s in the US as far as I know. Red cloth heated seat interior super rare!
Hey my friend
X on the parts car that you just took parts off of what the headlights and grill fit the Disco inferno is that front end look for me as the same headlights in better?
Hey Mike, do you still have Monkey Wrench Mike stickers? If so I'd like to get one.
Ask Randy to come help
maybe you have a bad oil pressure sensor or wiring problem because oil pressure gauge is at 3 bar before starting engine
Great to finally have a proper monkey video again! Please take us with you to the pull apart again! Much better than those tragic walk around videos and bike videos
Yes enjoy the trips to get parts would enjoy those walk arounds as much if you showed removal from the donor vehicles
Some walk around vids are fun.@@joansimko7206
Do you always get cheers when you finally get it up?
You appear to have that truly rare item - a rat rod with actual rats. 😁
💯💯💯💥💥
Im trying to restoring my 300d turbo 1992 sportline im from france and to be honest not simple and not cheap to find parts :)
“Lame ducks” I get it
I have seizures so they take away my license gets taken away and my cars sit at times I chased rats and got em before the wires got screwed up.
First, great video😀👏
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Mike, I think you might have gotten a hair cut on that Escalade!!!
Tell me about LKQ. Nickel and dime you like crazy.
D'awww 🐶
I'm glad you got that rat out of the benz
Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice, Janice,
I once heard that a junkyard to a man is like a fabric shop to a woman. I like the walk-throughs but won't watch either your or Randy's bike videos.
Good videos as long as you keep better than you Randy out of your videos !!!
Randy will always be welcome to appear in any of my videos.
Let's see the word of the day is LAME...
