I fell into sexual sin at the age of 11 and it's been years of committing that sin over and over again. I accepted Jesus into my life at the age of 14 almost 15 but I'm still currently struggling with my addiction. I thank God for getting me through those 3 years of depression and suicidal thoughts and helping me get through everything even though I never even thought of Him or prayed to Him. I was hoping someone could uplift me in prayer.
I know you read Atomic Habits and while watching your video it really made me think about this book because our brain really does associate places, situations or feelings with actions and that's what stimulates our reward system overtime and creates habits (which can also help you lose a habit) and it's crazy how you can associate psychology with the Word sometimes. Thank so much for talking without filter about this i know people who need it❤️
It was during the 6th grade for me as well. I’ve been practicing being celibate since 2020 but it’s been ups and downs. My recent relapse was 6 months ago but it was a binge that ended up until late January. It was rock bottom for me, I felt like I was possessed and had zero control over my flesh. I fasted and prayed for like 30 days, the longest I’ve gone and these demons left like if they were dust. It was a spiritual war that left me devastated but I have regained hope through Jesus Christ.

But i was tired of crying and regreting stuff so i started to pray more and talk to god more and forget about the past. thank you so much for doing a video on this, I’m in a place where I have no desire in sexual sin but satan has me going through sleep paralysis. It started in fear but when I was scared anymore it took a turn in my weakness of this. It’s starts in my dreams with fantasy and I used to be so close to indulging but wouldn’t, and now I had my worst dream yet with no influence and I just need it to stop.

I tried to live in the moments when things were the best not realizing that I ignored my responsibilities as a Christian. I thought that I could just avoid sin and temptation, but I will be tempted and I need Jesus to stop doing the same sin again and again. I’m going to fast from what Jesus wants me to and read my Bible and do the 365 Plan.

I needed to hear this as well, I was introduced to sexual intercourse at the age of 3 years old, yep the age of 3. I have been through a lot, abuse in all forms honestly. I was told I wasn't going to be nothing but behind trash cans and giving oral. but here I am today just 22 and I am a prophetess the lord, took me away from my state and told me to move, I have made some mistakes, I have sinned, I have wrecked homes, but I am a trooper and grateful for being alive, despite what I endured but I know I have a purpose for being here

Some things I cannot do like everyone else I am blessed to be walking and be able to run, however I have permanent back pain my spine was curved due to trauma, I met one lady and she told me her story, and she was in a wheelchair due to trauma “she was raped by 10 guys” I feel old but I am young my muscles are tight and tensed as well but I also played sports in middle school. All my bones in my body pop like I am double jointed or something

I quit porn quickly and easily by praying the Rosary. (In the beginning, 2-3 times a day) Its like a miracle! I took away the desire completely! No more temptations. No more masterbation. Lust cooled way way down! I feel better in every way - mind, body and soul. God is the key!
I had just done this, and not only that but with someone else when I knew it was wrong. Hey Carew! This podcast really was a wake-up call for me because i could relate to so much of what you said in your podcast. I have struggled with sexual sin from when I was 8. And it has haunted me since. It has been a never ending cycle. I have identified my triggers like being alone cause I was left home alone a lot as a child. So yeah, but this year, it's been heavy on my heart to refrain from sexual sin and I hope I will be able to testify along with many others that Jesus Christ saves and He is able to save us from our sins.

God gave us that 'desire' for His Glory and He wants us to appreciate beauty but not see His people as objects. I just woke up from a homosexual sex dream with my ex and It sorta like scared me I remember I bumped into this video yesterday but didn't watch it yet but planned toand so I clicked on to listen I also remember I watched some news that had a bit of this sin talked about. You say to guard your heart and it came to my mind all the times including last night I'm still bound to this sin that it could still show up in my dreams . I realize now I cannot open the door for this sin even a creak. That just the thought of it continues the pattern or creates a new pattern. It gives me hope that this pattern can be broken and my mind can be healed and restored with Jesus Word of God fasting and prayer.

Fast as in fasting from food. Only water. there’s a lot of different fast, like 12 hours a day, and like fruits fast. There’s also fast from other things like electronics. Hope this helps!!

most people fast from food, but you can really fast from anything. ie: certain types of food, social media, certain unhealthy habits, etc. whatever you feel you need to fast from to better your relationship with God. i suggest praying and seeing if he calls you to fast and what from.
The answers are right in the Bible! The only fasting mentioned was with not eating, or Daniel's fast which had limited foods. Do not listen to man saying that a fast is taking a break from TV, reading, social media, sugar, etc. You can give up to things to God, but if it's not said in the Bible, it's not a fast

By “fasting” does the Bible necessarily talk about food fasting or rather fasting from distractions that keeps you from Jesus. For instance you can fast from your phone because it is a distraction or even fast from a girlfriend/boyfriend because your mind is consumed by it. There are many things that unknowingly distract you from God and once you notice them it is healthy to fast from it.
I was introduced to pornography at 11 @ 15 my 28 yo cousin bought me my first vhs back then of 5 hours of just pornography 😢😢😢 omg that hinder me so much now I’m 35 and I’m still addicted I’ll be good for days weeks maybe a month then I go back. Sometimes I see people and it’s like I can see them naked in the spirit I feel so disgusting when that happens. I’ll be font look at people down there. I really need Jesus in that part of my life 😢

Hey Carew! This podcast really was a wake-up call for me because i could relate to so much of what you said in your podcast. I have struggled with sexual sin from when I was 8. And it has haunted me since. It has been a never ending cycle. I have identified my triggers like being alone cause I was left home alone a lot as a child. So yeah, but this year, it's been heavy on my heart to refrain from sexual sin and I hope I will be able to testify along with many others that Jesus Christ saves and He is able to save us from our sins.

I just woke up from a homosexual sex dream with my ex and It sorta like scared me I remember I bumped into this video yesterday but didn't watch it yet but planned toand so I clicked on to listen I also remember I watched some news that had a bit of this sin talked about. You say to guard your heart and it came to my mind all the times including last night I'm still bound to this sin that it could still show up in my dreams . I realize now I cannot open the door for this sin even a creak. That just the thought of it continues the pattern or creates a new pattern. It gives me hope that this pattern can be broken and my mind can be healed and restored with Jesus Word of God fasting and prayer.

when u say fasting what do u mean? do u mean like food fast? that stuff always confused me and i always hear people say i need to fast when it comes to overcoming sexual sin
Fast as in fasting from food. Only water. there’s a lot of different fast, like 12 hours a day, and like fruits fast. There’s also fast from other things like electronics. Hope this helps!!
@@iggy3533 yeah a little bit. i don’t think i can like medically fast from food lol i have type 1 diabetes so it’s literally a necessity that i eat plus i’m underweight and need to gain weight. so do i HAVE to fast from food? or can it be from other things
most people fast from food, but you can really fast from anything. ie: certain types of food, social media, certain unhealthy habits, etc. whatever you feel you need to fast from to better your relationship with God. i suggest praying and seeing if he calls you to fast and what from.
The answers are right in the Bible! The only fasting mentioned was with not eating, or Daniel's fast which had limited foods. Do not listen to man saying that a fast is taking a break from TV, reading, social media, sugar, etc. You can give up to things to God, but if it's not said in the Bible, it's not a fast

By “fasting” does the Bible necessarily talk about food fasting or rather fasting from distractions that keeps you from Jesus. For instance you can fast from your phone because it is a distraction or even fast from a girlfriend/boyfriend because your mind is consumed by it. There are many things that unknowingly distract you from God and once you notice them it is healthy to fast from it.
