I keep telling my photographer friends, NOBODY DOES TUTORIALS LIKE OSCAR NTEGE. Since the first day I watched "The real frequency separation" I have not looked back. You're awesome!!! 😭😭😭❤️
My goal is to make portrait photo editing and skin retouching super easy for everyone. I struggled to understand this technique because I found no tutorial explaining it to me in a rudimentary way. Most tutorials were only showing steps, using hardcore editing language, which was a bit frustrating. I wanted a tutorial that would make me understand skin retouching like it was teaching a 5-year-old. My goal is not to show how awesome I am at Photoshop but to help you, my people understand Photoshop workflow in the simplest way there is. That's why I don't use "tech" language in my tutorials because it gets some people new to Photoshop more confused! 0:00 - Intro 0:51 - Portrait Retouch overview 1:57 - Skin Retouching with frequency separation 8:06 - Editing and retouching Skin Textures 14:13 - Editing and retouching skin tones 17:32 - Burning and Dodging (sculpting and contouring) 29:33 - Contouring Lips and lipstick 30:08 - Color Correcting and color grading in photoshop

Hello, I asked in one of your video if someone like me a novice in photography world can retouch using Adobe Lightroom but didn’t get no response. Pls reply me thank you.
There are basic tools you can use in lightroom or camera raw. These range from light and color corrections to simple blemish removal however you can't do any sophisticated edits.
I followed along, made a few changes to my liking, and I am happy with my result. can I send it to you on Instagram for a review? Thank you for linking the sample image for us to follow along.

What kind of brush are you using
I am using the gaussian blur not a mixer brusher
@@OscarNtege I mean when ur dodging and burning
Coz I tried but nothing is happening
Yet I followed all ur steps
Apply image: Scale and offset,
Refused to change. What's the problem sir???
Which photoshop you use for editing pictures sir
That was photoshop cc 2014 but any version of photoshop can do.
that part seems to be different for me! when I go to the gradient tool , I get a black and white image and not the color that you get! what am I doing wrong?
Please change the colors by clicking on the color scale down
Why was the nose left extra granular as compared to the rest of the face?
Great question 😂
The makeup artists usually add a nose "highlight" some times we have no control as photographers

I have got it. I was typing 1.28 instead of 128
Oh sorry about that. Its 128 (one hundred twenty eight) not "1.28"
