Very good...just wanna remind all of you of one thing and it's very important to know. When retouching 'texture' layer....your sample mode HAVE to be set as "current layer" only. He had it set correct in this tutorial but never mention it. Otherwise you'll be affecting layers bellow if any other mode is selected. When using clone stamp, look up at the top tools and where it says Sample: make sure Current Layer is selected.

Thanks! So to reiterate, when retouching in the current layer, the current layer (in the video) should be the tones layer? I was editing in the texture layer, and I got the same results, however, when I realized in the video that he was editing in the tones layer, I clicked undo, selected the tones layer and started retouching, nothing happened. In that case, should I continue to edit in the texture layer?

I just started my photography journey last month . I just bought adobe editing packages and was not sure where to start.
Your tutorial is the best thing that has happened to me. I had watched multiple videos and I could not understand what they were doing. I had to keep restarting with different channels unfortunately none made sense. You have just helped me start my career with the best skills.
Trust me you are the best tutor on these streets. Did I mention their processes are just unnecessarily complicated that exhibit their lack of in depth knowledge of the application? Yes. Finding this was just a relief.
    Thank you.

To be honest, I am so much grateful with this piece of training. Most of the time I don't want to try attempting tutorials like this because whoever is trying to take you through this things makes it very complex and almost impossible to learn except buy their luts or action. Thank you very much for making this thing simple as ABC. I will do more practice to become master of it. Thank you again and again
