Hi Fred! This is Gary again, In fact your topic today is indeed the story of my life and I’m sure for many others. This issues applies to building a house in Ghana when you depend on families. In fact, our people in Ghana doesn’t even want us to come bck to Ghana for an unknown reasons.
They don't want u to come to Ghana because those in abroad work n send them money so if you are in Ghana they will lose that money. That is the secret behind.
@@kitchenmadamskitchen2564 Indeed you’re right about that assertion. In the past I didn’t want to believe that was the case but I’m I wrong? Unbelievable.
Fred, you are much wiser than your age, and what you are doing is impacting more lives than you know! Please keep up the good work, and may the Lord continue to light your path with success and enduring fulfillment. Thank you.
Hello Fred, thank you so much for your honest assessment on this topic; tackling it from Homefront and Diasporans perspectives. You are indeed a blessing to your generation. Keep up the good work.
Been watching your videos for a while and I must say that I am so glad that we have people thinking and acting the way you do.. You do not have to be president before you can lead and make great changes in the society. Thank you for your care, thoughtfulness, humility, transparency, resilience and leadership. May God continue to guide you. ...
Fred, this is by far the best msg video infirm y that I ever watched, I’m from Kenya but still in USA, starting a goat and Dorper sheep farm. Have learned so much from you, keep it up brother, times I have thought about quoting all that but when I see you doing it, I’m encouraged. Peace to you sir
This was such a great conversation we really enjoyed you being so honest we are living in the US and we have a small farm and considering moving to the continent we're happy that you are having this conversation because I think a lot of people are afraid to have this type conversation about real things so we appreciate it. thank you.. Much success and blessings with your farm.
Everything you are saying I am going now with people back home. It's just hard to find a trust worthy people to work with but I've learned a lot from your video thank you so much.💕
This really hit home; just recently opened up a dialogue with my uncle about starting a cattle ranch & farming in Nigeria. He opening discouraged me because he was concerned there were no trustworthy people out there despite my late dad leaving over 15 acres of farming land to me. Truly broke me 🤦🏾♂️
Yes, we are here far and watching you. Thanks for your perspective on establishing farming in Africa. I have a farm going in Africa and is currently experiencing some of the issues you've described in this post.
Hello Fred is with Pleasure that i have to come back on this topic of working with relatives , friends etc. Being out for quite a very long time ( NEDERLANDS) , made me to believe and trust wrong people. I invested in transportation. At the look of things now , if i knew what i now know , i would've invested in agriculture. One is more vulnerable in transportation business than in agriculture . Anyway ! I am a spartan. I will do everything i can to correct those mistakes i did. Thks for sharing all this information with the world
Hi Frank, I'm so much touch by just listening to your video. It's has not been easy with and some relatives back home but with your advice ,I will not give. God richly bless you .I pray that your projects will succeed and it will be a testimony.
Oooooooohhhh mine has been so bad.i sent money to my auntie and she managed to lend it to my cousin even be4 she went half way my wrk.my cousin refused to refund the money and i had nothing to do.imagine taking my 1000dollars for free
Yes, I'm watching you from Seattle Washington. I love what you're doing in Ghana, farming. I was looking to obtain some land in Asebu for farming. But up till now, that effort is unsuccessful.
Thank you so very much for this informative advice Sr. It has given me the insight needed to do upcoming business/projects with people/family back home. Because of your insightful advice, I have SUBSCRIBED to your UA-cam channel. Thanks again
Really comprehensive Fred. I am retiring from a high level International occupation and will definitely need this quality of insight to facilitate my return to Ghana.
Hi brother am watching you from Spain. My vision is farming now I started my farming business now l have fish and caw farm in Ghana. I subscribe your channel any time I watch your videos keep up good work we support you.
You young man are on the right TRACK. YOUR LOVE FOR THE LAND AND THE PEOPLE ARE OUTSTANDING. YOU ARE A TRAINER WITH A VERY HUMBLE HEART. ONLY BLESSINGS TO YOU. IM AN AFRICAN AMERICAN THAT'S COMING HOME SOON TO VISIT. WISH TO VISIT YOU THEN TO SEE THE FARMS. I TO HAVE PLANS OF DOING SOMETHING TO HELP CREATE JOBS FOR MY PEOPLE. WISH YOU ALL THE BEST. PEACE, LOVE AND HAPPYNESS ALWAYS.
Thank you for this insightful video. I fully agree with your advice and comments. From a personal experience don’t employ a relative especially if you are abroad. If they don’t perform and you have to let them go it becomes a family feud. Also take some time off to spend with the people working for you so they know what you expect of them. Then they can run with the vision in your absence. Thanks Fred, God bless you.
Powerful video these are the things my husband is doing with his grown children and they are doing very well we helped his daughter get a shop several years ago before we even thought of doing our home and farm in Ghana she has been the backbone of the project. How about investigating in people first then see how they handle it before you count on them to invest in your vision just a thought thank you for your videos I am new here and enjoying this content

Thank you for the education. I am a Sierra Leonean, I am an example of diasporans disappointed by friends and family. The greatest stress so far that I am facing is as a result of that.
What you are saying brother is absolutely true. When you give a job relatives do not work perfectly, if you are not there. If you fire him, it becomes a quarrel. It is a good idea to give someone else a job if they lose their job because of poor performance, there are no complaints
Wow you are so good at talking about reality. I have learnt a lot on this one. My goodness. You are no longer my brothers Africans( I mean in business).
its true Fred! I was sending money from US for 2 years to a family member to buy land, then I found out it went for "school fees".. never again will I make that mistake!!
How much was it? You can't be sending small 💰 and u will be sitting there thinking you av send enough money to ur family ....if you want a land send enough to buy it at ago and let them send you the documents
I mean..... is it sad that I would trust someone like Fred then my own family? 😨. This would be because he understands the struggles of living and working abroad as the family members back home think the money grows on trees 🌲. This breakdown has given both sides of the story which has softened my mind a bit, but I’ve been bitten in the past by family and still unsure about the trust aspect. But will take the advice on, thank you Fred you are truly inspirational 💪🏾🙏🏾🙌🏽
I am Martin Infact you are a great person I listen to the whole video it just like you are telling my story everything you are saying is true and I congratulate you may God bless you and I will learn a lot from this video because some of my family members let me down a lot so now I am making my home work very well.
You are a very intelligent pragmatic and a fair entrepreneur and overall a good human being who just love people, your country and the mankind period. May Bless everything that you touch. Will definitely give you a call.
