  • NASA offered an insanely detailed and up-close view of Earth's moon when its Goddard Space Flight Center released a 4K virtual tour on Monday, April 9.
    The U.S. space agency reports the data for the video was retrieved by its Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter spacecraft. (NASA)

    What I have always found strange about the Moon is that every crater would seem to be created by a direct on strike no matter where they are ( they are circular and should not always be the case)

    • @jayprimo
      @jayprimo 5 років тому +4

      Hmmmppphhhhh......i never thought about that. No visible trenches from being struck at an angle and "skimming" it so to speak. That is pretty interesting.

    • @max5250
      @max5250 5 років тому +4

      Lyle,
      Why do you think 'it should not always be the case'?!
      Every single object that hit's the Moon (or Earth or any other celestial object) is attracted by its gravity, so it will be 'aiming' into the centre of the Moon, hence, hit will always be perpendicular to the ground.

    • @jayprimo
      @jayprimo 5 років тому +2

      www.quora.com/Why-do-meteorites-always-fall-right-in-the-craters
      Pretty good article. Accompanying video shows a low angle impact. So whereas the shape is less circular and more "egg shaped", with the naked eye its not easy to distinguish from a circular impact. Its not so much the impact that causes the crater as the ensuing explosion does, creating the circular shape.

      1 full rotation in 29 days the time it orbits earth. Its hard to imagine how it works. But thats the reason we only see one side. I am working on a video to show this and how the moon phases work based on the globe model. Please check it out as it may aid in your understanding and help answer your question about only seeing one side.
      I had same trouble myself understanding it till i thought it over it made sense.
      Also i am including some 3d renders of how the sun hits the earth and moon. It explains that the phases are not created by the earths shadow as flat earthers and ive even seen globe believers use the earth shadow is reason for half moons which is wrong and they just misunderstand it too.
      Hopefully my video when i post it will help all to understand these working.

    • @mofologic1882

      Im not sure what side your closing the case on. The globe model has no issues with sun and moon in sky together due to the moons oribit it will share that space in the sky at a regular interval with in its orbit and under the right earth sun...and moon orbit it creates the solar eclipse.
      Not sure if flat earth does account for this as nobody will actually tell me how there idea is supposed to work. Maybe thats what your trying to say the FE model dont account for sun and moon sharing space in the sky...but globe most certainly does.

    The moon's surface with its circles and craters obviously proves it is a metal ball. The rocks and sand is such that has accumulated on its surface over massive expanses of time. The orange dirt discovered on the moon also proves this for the color is iron rust.
    Now, apply this to the Earth and how it must be beneath its crusty surface, which is stuff that has landed on Earth from space and continues to do so every day.
    Lets say the core of the Earth is liquid metal, the outer core of it would be solid. This logically would act as a stove, heating and melting a mineral to turn into lava and boiling water which causes these hot springs and volcanos.
    Water is what cooled down the Earth's surface, and continues to play a part in keeping it at a certain temperature, much like the funtion a cooling system in a car has to keep the motor (made from metal) gets too hot. The car also has oil to help with the cooling and keeping the engine from rusting.
    How the Earth functions reminds one of how how the motor vehicle functions, for it uses the same methods to keep it working, to keep it functioning, producing and staying alive.
    It is widely known the Earth has a vibration frequency. Now a motor vibrates due to it being a machine and so naturally it would vibrate and make sound. This may also have one thinking about the Earth and what it is. Is it a life producing machine? Was it created for this very purpose, or was it simply by chance?
