    Perfect difficulty, she has a competitive spirit that’s for sure BUT she will get hammered with plenty of artistry deductions in the world stage, I know her scores have been in the mid to high 13’s but if she could improve the artistry (choreo, side choreo, choreo connected to elements, consistent rhythm through routine, she should be able to score in low to mid 14’s for a chance of a medal! She could even score 3 tenths higher if she gets rid of the steps she takes to adjust and prepare for her skills! ( yes those steps are counted as steps for adjustments and they are 0.1 deductions)
    Nonetheless this is an impressive and rare routine, very few people have the guts to include 3 acro series in their beam routines.

    • @cocoroni1031
      @cocoroni1031 Рік тому +14

      Yes, steps and pauses are too much. Her coaches should consider adding choreo to at least avoid steps.

    • @cocoroni1031

      Her side choreo is sufficient though.

      @@cocoroni1031 I don’t think that’s an accurate statement, she barely has a choreo implemented, she just swings her arms but there’s no full movement that would actually be considered a choreography

    • @cocoroni1031

      @@GonzaloGarcia-pr1pt She has at least 3 side movements (from A to B to C). Yes, she swings her arms but the movement is continuous with some rhythm. This is a minimal effort so she would lose some artistry points. But she does fulfill the side composition requirement.

    Very impressive skills on the beam! I suppose improving choreography and artistry is easier than upgrading skills, so I see a lot of potential if she can add a little more choreography inn and eliminate some adjustment steps. I'm a little sad about all the people bashing her routine and coaches. Maybe this approach (difficulty first, execution second, choreo third) works better for her mentally to get competition ready.

    • @leykimayri
      @leykimayri Рік тому

      Yeah spend your time learning difficulty because once you grow you will only have to learn new skills because you won’t be able to do the skills you used to do when having a smaller girlish body. In the meantime who cares about execution and artistry which once you have learned correctly to include them in your routines you do that for a lifetime, which works the opposite when you’ve grown up without paying attention to execution and elegance

    • @zoelenakeldenich2124

      @@leykimayri I didn't mean general gymnastic-carreer-wise, but specifically in preparation for one competition or competition season. In that context I stand by what I said and feel that it does make sense. When you put it into a completely different context, of course it will not make sense anymore, but you don't need to go out of your way to interpret things in such a way that they upset you.

      @@zoelenakeldenich2124the thing is, it actually waste a lot more time when you’re chucking skills with sloppy form and then plan to clean it up later because now you gotta go back to the drawing board and relearn the skill to break bad habits. It would be better in the long run to just focus on the basics and execution head on and then the skill will eventually come. I’m just surprised her mom is allowing this to happen even though she was an Olympic athlete and had to perform compulsory routines that made her the gymnast that she was 😭

      @@jjsully678 we were talking about choreography execution and not skill execution. Yes, in a general gymnastics carreer it's easier when you learn that artisty first, but for a specific competition ir competition season, I would also preffer to have the skills first and choreo second.

    Her dance elements have improved, and this is a massive D score especially since almost all CV is in the acro series, meaning it's practically guaranteed, but there's a reason why she's never been able to hit it in competition. 3 acro series is 3 places to fall and tbh she could get rid of the layout since she's going to be hit with at least 0.3 body position on it anyway

    I just watched Rebecca Andrade at the Brazilian Nationals and Sabrina's exercise is not only way more difficult, but way better executed than Rebecca's who's exercise is simple and FULL of mistakes and checks and balances and adjustment steps, plus a huge step at landing.

      LOL...her coach is her Mom, none other than Camelia Voinea, former top gymnast, Gold at Worlds in Rotterdam 1987 and Silver at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, and Montreal Worlds all in the team competition. Individual medals at the World Cup (Beijing 1986 Silver floor), Europeans (Moscow 1987 Silver Floor).

    • @poshbo
      @poshbo Рік тому +7

      Her routine composition is actually quite inefficient: she does 2 hugely risky full twisting tumbling combos but still has only 6.6 DV. Simone Biles doesn't do any full twist elements on the beam and had 6.5 DV recently because she found a nice balance between risk and reward. Voinea would be better off doing better rewarded skills and combos (eg. Mitchell turn, side aerial + 2 LOSOs, switch leap mount + switch leap 1/2 + Korbut etc.)

      @@poshbo err simone only got a 6.5, tbh Simone beam routine could get lower start value once she wobble(break connection), but for voinea, there won’t be such thing, “cuz she either fall or get the connection done, even with wobble she won’t get downgrade, just loss some execution mark. But Simone really has more artistry and better execution.

    • @poshbo
      @poshbo Рік тому

      @@punchingkwan3052 ah, I stand corrected, Biles did indeed get 6.5 SV at Classics recently. But my overall point stands, Biles' routine has almost the same SV as Voinea's despite having much lower risk. The only tricky connection for Biles is her mount series and she seems to do it very securely. She's never had issues with the BHS+LOSO+LOSO on the beam. It's really the Chinese girls who rely heavily on lots of long connections, not Biles.
      If Biles brings back her double double dismount (which is not actually that hard for her given her crazy tumbling ability) then she'd have 6.6 SV. And agreed that Biles has better execution. Whereas Voinea's acro combinations just will either cause falls or major wobbles; think about how much the BHS + Back tuck 1/1 cost Iordache over the years.

Yes, she needs more clearly defined shapes in her full twists and a lot more artistry, but her jumps and leaps are much better than they were just a few months ago. She's clearly worked hard on them. If she can devote the same energy to her twisting form, she'll be fine.
