I used to watch this as a child and still rewatch it now 😂 I love it even more because it’s like watching me and my best mate if we lived together.. the insults he thinks of for me are beautiful 😂
same here. i cant believe my parents allowed me to watch such a filthy show when i was 10. then again, i probably didnt understand half of what was being said back then lol
So glad you've got on to this! The guy on the posters at the start is Liam Gallagher, from the band Oasis. The voodoo doll is supposed to be Patsy Kensit, Liam's wife at the time.
Omg how did I miss this. Cathy Burke is brilliant 🤣🤣🤣 Eddie B you are looking great. I have not been here for a while, certainly toned up. Keep up the good work.
23:37 The Peto joke: Linda read the note as “Hi cats, thanks for last night, Peto.” The actual letter was: “Hi cats, thanks for last night, PTO (Please Turn Over) I’ll be back at lunchtime tomorrow, see you then, Jez”. Linda argued he didn’t put dots (periods) in between P.T.O and that’s why she misread it 😂
OH MY GOD 😹!!! I remember seeing this show for the first time on CANAL+ at the of 15 years back in 1999. Then, i forgot it for over 20 years - until i saw this video 😹👍. Thanks again, Eddie bro 😺👍.
If you like Kathy Burke she has a great podcast themed around funerals and death, it's more funny than it sounds! Called "Where There's a Will, There's a Wake", interviewing celebrities to plan their funerals - but also just a deep dive into their whole lives really. It's great, very blunt and dry like her humour in this show
Great show, 3 series of it so get watching 👍🏻 The theme tune is just a cover of the ABBA song with the same name and Tom’s surname I believe is Farrell and you do hear it in an up-and-coming episode. I’m sure we can fill you in on anything you don’t know.
That's cool. Most good TV shows have a real song as the intro. I'm pretty sure I'm gonna need some help understanding certain things. I like what I've seen so far.
Gimme Gimme Gimme. Classic. Yep, there were probably a few references that haven't travelled across the Pond! 😉😉I'm working my way through it again, at the moment. Kathy Burke was a total diamond. Written by Jonathan Harvey. I much prefer The Beautiful People, also written by him. More of a comedy/drama, about 2 gay lads growing up in Reading, in the late 1990s. Totally hilarious, but with a few flights of fancy and some wonderfully poignant moments!
This was such a special time as the sense of humour back then was much more offensive and nobody cares about the cancel culture compared to nowadays, which is a shame but looking forward to watching more with you 🤩
@@tshkl You're absolutely right about that. Cancel Culture is for weak, insignificant, whiny, entitled idiots who wouldn't know humor if someone blasted them in the funny bone! Lol 😁
You wanna know who lovely Liam is cheak out the band oasis if you wanna find out who Robert Carlyle is watch the film trainspotting or the full Monty or 28 weeks later ect

Liam galahar is a musician in a group called oasis.
You should check out the full original version of the theme song by ABBA
It's Dreyfus. Think Dr Dre, and put fuss at the end. It's a really easy name to get muddled up, but that's how I remember it.
Thanks for schooling me on that Adrian. 👍
Only fools and horses is a good comedy
