That can be a long run from Seiku out past Tatoosh when the ocean swell and wind waves build but it is absolutely beautiful. Glad you got into a nice fish. They can be a real back breaker! You put out a great channel. I'm in Florida now after a life in the Washington state and going through the learning curve. You two are great teachers!
Great video ladies! I’ve never caught a Halibut but have eaten plenty. Definitely one of my favorite fish to eat! I know that fight wore you out! Great job!
almost as big as an "Amanda" (and Emily;) awesome catch guys! Congrats on the upcoming rod models. already subscribed and looking forward to what you come up with🎣 Great "cook" too! ummm, I'd have stolen your bait to grill🤣 grillled salmon and tuna bellies...yes please!🤤 Great stuff as always capts👍
Welcome to WA hope you enjoyed that area, Cape Flattery is beautiful but rugged and our weather a bit different than your usual home. If you ever get a chance try the southern corner of WA. The Long Beach Peninsula and the Columbia River, great fishing there as well as views and a great maritime museum in Astoria OR. Another great video, thanks!
I am going to take your deep drop jigging rod by johnny jig in october and see what reel and line he suggests. i have always heard halibut have worms i would be going after king salmon.
Not much sport using electric reels and keeping the rod in the holder. Also Tattosh Island is not the most Northern most point in the U.S. I know you've heard of AK. But hey you're tourist, I get it.
Wish you all the luck with your business ventures ladies, fishing gear is a very competitive area. Call me old fashioned, but those digital electric reels sure looks like cheating.
Emily and Amanda gale. I wood like two go fishing with ladies some time win I get back down to Florida for a disney wold vacation next year Emily and Amanda gale.

7:00 -- A "barn door" Pacific halibut... great work, girls! 💪💪💪
Great eating fish! Just one thing, that was a "chicken", most assuredly not a "barn door". 😆
11:11 -- But did you keep the halibut cheeks? 🤔
Finally I was hoping you never forgot us
Halibut is awesome, but black rockfish is one of my favorites!
Man of culture

I only counted two “holy cows!” during that fight… without the electric reel, that would have been a solid 3 or 4 “holy cows!”
U girls r amazing
Taco Tuesday vibes on point full sending never lifting 😏 🤙 mobbin deep ladies 🙌 that's a big fish 😮
Where in Washington did you fish
Do you fly commercial or private jet? Looks like Kona went along and it would be much easier to fly private jet I would imagine on a long flight.
What kind of fishing poles were you using to catch the Halibut. I can't quite make out the name in the video.
Recipe in the description doesn't say how much butter?
Just a note on their rods, managed to break one😢, sent an email, replaced😅, it was my wife’s rod😂
😃👍👍👍❤
Excuse me, Alaska still exists.

contact Skipper Dan Walters in Olympia ; He knows exactly where to go !!! … he caught the second largest in the State a few years ago !!!
hmmmmmmmmmmm
BLT shark fish sandwich fry up
50 inch Halibut = approx 50 pounds. Unless they grow a lot fatter between Oregon and Washington.
A 50” halibut is approx 60 lbs live weight. A 51” halibut bumps up to approx 65 lbs live weight. Caught a 51” incher myself a few days ago!
