Fun Fact , Riker did have a trill in him. then deep space nine reteconned trills only being able to carry the slug. goddamn id be a good game master at this
@@jennifermk4059 saw your reply and thought to myself . when did i comment about new episodes of discovery :P Trek does have a tendency to just retcon things, never seems to bug me, you just get a cool story years later to explain it (trials and tribbleations, few episodes in ent about augments, the tos pilot being cannon now) that may be about what is to happen on disco with the new belly worm. I want the lower decks to do a joke about the deck full of dolphins on the enterprise
Pip is the best at RPGs, I bet the backstory of Captain Len goes something like; she was a pro-wrestler in starship captain costume that accidentally wandered into the academy and was given a ship straight away, and she's been fibbing through it ever since
Hilarious! I love the attention to detail with fictional worlds, so bravo. "The vending machine," ha! My bird, Oliver, loves The Next Generation and goes crazy for the theme. He also says "space!" when he wants to watch it or he sees it. The ladies at the vet even play it for him. It's uncanny, even as you began to hum it, I could hear him yelling in my head...haha! He likes DS9 as well, but TNG has his heart. Thanks for recording this, it was amazing!
This was fun, although I can imagine many trekkies being triggered! Sometimes a rpg goes into the path of funny and everyone joins in and it's a different style to the planned game, but still good! I can see why some people might have been disappointed, but I thought it worked! (Probably due to many chaotic rpgs I've been involved in, both sides 😂)
Sorry, I can see the humour in this to some extent, but the scarcity of actual role-playing in this video is painful. On a side note, volume level on this video is pretty low.
Not every roleplay has to be so serious....especially when playing for a crowd. Honestly, this comedy version where everyone was having fun was FAR better than just a straight star trek roleplay (for this setting).
This is terrible. I love SU&SD and they are normally so funny. This is just them being stupid. It's like they didn't want to play but were forced to. Pip was the worst. Why not play something you wanted to?
Starting with the Star Wars theme tune... glorious.
"Use the Force, Harry" - Gandalf
I am triggered as hell
These perfect trollboys. EDIT: And trollgirl
My favourite part of Star Wars was when the Vulcans used the mind trick to convince Boba Fett into the Sarlacc Pit.
They boldly went there
Oh yea I love Battlestar stuff
This isn't Battlestar, it's Stargate. Get it right.
You're both right - it was filmed in Vancouver!
Ha! Neat
Fun Fact , Riker did have a trill in him. then deep space nine reteconned trills only being able to carry the slug.
goddamn id be a good game master at this
To be fair to DS9, Riker almost died because his body was rejecting the symbiont.

"Rules are how we have fun", ha ha. I relate to that statement
An excellent portrayal of a captain cracking under the pressure of command.
"Were you inside Will Riker at some point?" is by far the best line
12:25 Always go for first pressing, why wait til everyone else has had their fun with the mandalorian space grapes?
Thanks Jez...
Wait is that a regulation size reference pear? The SU&SD crew is really tiny then.
Exactly what I was thinking!
They're just a long way away, in the future.

your bird and I have much in common
“We’re coming, Sandy!”
They needed someone a bit more serious to be the captain to help keep things on track.
For a long-term campaign, yes, but I think it's hilarious for a one-shot
Worth watching just for Paul's face at 26:55.
Star Wars music... SU&SD you absolute trolls
So most starships have tuna cells?

Of the 350 crew members, why do only the handful of high ranking officers get to go down to the planets?
Because all the other ones mYsTeRiOusLy dIe!
I'd be utterly disappointed if you don't do that Star Trek murder mystery some day! ;P
indeed
"We have one defining character trait" - so true of most ST aliens!
All just one big test for humanity by the Q-uinntinuum.
Any chances of a continuation?
So much better than Discovery ...
I like that nebula!
10 out of 10 best intro
Pip is really starting to grow on me.
Not sure if trolling or not,...Riker did join with a Trill.
This was so enjoyable and Pip is so funny as Captain Lang.
This is both best and worst episode of Star Trek.
I tried running the playtest adventures for my friends, and they really were not well written at all, but it's such a fun game
I'm only 20 minutes in, but this is fantastic.
matt at 40:04 hahahahahhahahahahhahahahha
I just... this is just star trek, but everyone on board is drunk and/or disassociating
I wondered why the players accepted the captain not letting her crew leave the ship.
Please do another D&D adventure!
My favorite character is Bon'N'Weave.
So cringe worthy, but trying is good. Trying is a win.
captain Pip should be in every episode !
Yes! Digitally add her to all the star trek episodes! And the star trek movies!
Every engineering dept has at least one incel
This is actually painful!
Goodbye Paul
Pip is awesome
What's a good board game that's also under $40
King of Tokyo.

We had a fun time, but "actual role-playing" is our aim for when we do this again next year. x
Sometimes it's just the way you gotta Roll ! (Play)

It's SU & SD play roleplaying. Not so much roleplaying, but it's SU & SD AF.

i disagree. This was so much fun, and Pip was hilarious.
Strong disagree.
Star trek adventure with star wars theme? Star wars is better
