    The ACV has been unbelievably helpful to my body - 2 teaspoons 3x a day on empty stomach in a glass of water and increase slightly if needed - absolutely destroyed my cold...thanks Dr. Berg - this one thing I learned from you has helped tremendously and I continue to learn.

      Three teaspoons is almost the equivalent of one Tablspoon, (3.3 tspns is 1 Tblspn). So just take one Tblspn. 3 times a day.... that way you don't have to measure a tspn 3 times in a row 😁

    I've taken a 2000 mg odorless garlic supplement everyday for almost 7 years and have not had a cold or the flu during that time. I swear by it. Doesn't matter which brand. My husband isn't as good at remembering to take his daily, and when he skips a few days and starts to get that little tickle, I have him immediately take one of the garlic supplements and 25 mg of zinc (always take zinc with food to prevent nausea), and most times he'll skip getting a cold altogether. But you have to do that right at the start of feeling like you're getting a cold.

    • @palestinevideos2025

      Fasting helps against some infections and eating helps against others. For some infections fasting could cause you to die whilst if you'd eaten you'd have survived. Fasting seems essential for bacterial stomach infections like food poisoning. Whilst eating seems to help against some viral infections, such as the common cold. Fasting will make the cold last longer or make it more likely to have complications.

Half the virus infected rats were given no food and half were force fed glucose. Half the bacterial infected rats were given no food and half were force fed glucose. Most of the virus infected rats which had no food died whilst most which were force fed glucose survived. Conversely most of the bacterial infected rats which were given no food survived and most which were force fed died. In another study in humans they looked at the effect of fasting vs eating on stimulation of the immune system and production of immune cells, the research showed that the immune system is stimulated in a way in which it's better able to fight viruses whilst eating, and it's stimulated in a way in which it's better able to fight bacteria whilst fasting.

    Hi Dr. Berg. One thing no one ever mentions is the automatic lack of interest in food when one gets sick. I noticed from my self that every time I do get sick(and it’s rare) I want nothing to do with food yet people who mean well are alway forcing you to eat( “you got to eat to get stronger”) What I understand is the fact that your body instinctively is forcing you to “intermittent fast” in order to concentrate on fighting off whatever it is that’s attacking. It wasn’t until we got the “co vid” that we were told that some of the symptoms are “loosing sense of taste and smell” everyone focused on that when in reality that happens with most sicknesses. It’s just it was never pointed out so we all think it’s “just part of co vid only”. After he ing the flu once and going to the doctor one should be knowledgeable enough for next time to be able to just stay home, sleep as much as your body wants, drink as much as your body wants, never take anything to suppress temperature and just let your body do what it needs to detox and no drugs. It will take some time and it varies depending on how much crap you have inside. No need to go to the doctor... except of course visit Dr. Berg on line for tips 😁

    This may be off topic but decided to ask anyway. Here are a couple questions that I'm certain, many other people would like to know the answer to. I take supplements B1, B12, omega3, tumeric, berberine, magnesium, potassium, B complex, D3, K, zinc, coq10, grape seed extract, apple cider vinegar, probiotic, cayenne, garlic oil and a Multi Vitamin. If I went to look at the bottles, there are probably some that I forgot to mention. #1- Does taking all of these suppliments together, cause a ineffectiveness of some of them? It seems that if they hit the system close together, they would turn into a concoction of who knows what. With the cost of supplements, I'm hardly able to afford my one meal a day. #2- Will the Multi Vitamin be good enough to not need to take most of these suppliments? I've always questioned the effectiveness of multi vitamins. Mostly due to finding it hard to believe that there is enough of the different vitamins in them to be in one pill.

    • @gyrospinup
      @gyrospinup 5 років тому

      @@paolac.1678 I don't think that I will ever get a good answer to the question. I just take the water soluble vitamins with water and the fat soluble vitamins with my MCT coffee and hope for the best. I have thought about buying a expensive multivitamin made with whole ingredients rather than synthetic to bypass most of them. But, I still can't see how it's possible to get enough of all the vitamins in one pill, even if they are somehow highly concentrated. Seems like a huge gimmick. I went ahead and counted them all and have 20 suppliments, so I almost thought of them all. I may need to start eating once every three months due to not being able to afford food. I forgot about MCT and virgin coconut oil. That's not too cheap either. Then there is the price of pink sea salt and "No Salt" for electrolytes.

    Also had some sardines and a few Brazil nuts and pumpkin seeds. I imagine all of this helped expect maybe the almond milk and peanut butter. Peanut butter was just to mask the taste of raw garlic.

    I had a cold start coming on a few days ago and did all the wrong things - raw milk, eating. It usually lasts for a couple weeks when I get one of these - starting in my nasal area and slowly working its way down over a couple weeks to lower chest. So I figured, after 2 days of the same I'd try something else: I was taking those little organic lemon juice containers and squirting into water. I switched to real lemons and I always put a little celtic or himalayan salt in my water. I stopped eating. I"ve finished day 2 of a fast. Things were better - I skipped the sore throat part and had a sensitive chest, way better but still having trouble taking deep breaths without starting a paroxysm of bronchial excitement. So I just tried one more thing and had to share - I had some magnesium tea. I used a product called calm which is a magnesium carbonate powder. The relief from the sensitive bronchials was immediate. Things are looking up - peace!

    • @lorimc8934
      @lorimc8934 5 років тому +11

      Hydrogen peroxide H2O2 kills germs, and after it loses the oxygen on the bacteria, the remainder becomes water H2O. You can see for yourself if you have a sinus issue start on say you right side, the hydrogen peroxide will bubble much more in that right ear. I use the spray, it's easier, and just fill up your ear canal. Itll take more than 3 drops to get way in there. Let it bubble for maybe 3 minutes. You will hear when it subsides like when popcorn is done in the microwave. I've never gotten a good explanation why it works, but it does a great job. Doesnt hurt at all, just cold at first. Obviously dont use if you have an open wound, it would be painful.

    Intermittent fasting helped me not just with 'love handels' - (completely gone , not even a curve , straight line ) and belly fat , but it helped me with anxiety and panic attacks ! I suffered from social anxiety panic attacks for 2 years . I tried antidepressans , didnt work , tried neurofeedback therapy (worked like magic on a cognitive based side , improved concentration, focus and others but still little anxiety).
    Then I tried Intermittent Fasting and OMG , after 5 days I felt so relieved , like stress was gone and I think that fasting helped me lower stress and I felt so good . It made me think differently and have different percepcions about health and I was kinda hipohodric all the time about heartbeat (I was really anxious when hearing heartbeat) etc.. Anyways , thank you Dr. Berg ! Will do IF every week for a couple of days couse is soo beneficial , like its free medicine and you even have to do nothing , just starve a little ! Amazing !

    Dr. Berg. I hate cold. So I Developed one of my own technique to Kill it before it develops. It usually starts with tingling on inside of mouth at upper wall where the nose opens internally. I guess the attack begins from there. So I put honey on that inside wall and lie on back with chin up. Kept it for 5 mins. It worked for me many times. Also cleaning with tooth brush and paste to clean that inner wall, also helped me.Anyone can try and see if it benefits like it does for me.

I usually boil mine first, then let it cool or add some cold water to it, add your salt, 1 teaspoon to a half a mug, stir and gargle 3 or 4 times, spitting out after each gargle. Go to bed, keep yourself nice and warm. Repeat in the morning after brushing your teeth. Kills all bacteria and viruses. Hope you feel better very soon.

But if I have forgotten to eat the garlic and start to feel a cold coming on if I get into a tub of hot water as hot I can stand it and soak for 20 minutes and get out of the water and get into bed and stay warm I can stop the cold. But that only works if you do it as soon as you feel the symtoms

    Nice vid. But a few comments: 1. vit C in lemons - not that good of a source. Many types of peppers, strawberries and kiwis have much more vit C. And are easier to consume. 2. "Avoid sugar because it's feeding the bacteria". Most colds are viral. Not bacterial. The reason why you avoid simple sugars (glucose, fructose and lactose) is because they slow down the innate immune system. 3. You need to consume quite a lot of (*crushed*) garlic for it to have a strong effect. It's hard to do so when you're fasting (as you recommended). So it's easier to get a high quality, acid-resistant garlic allicin supplement.
