I discovered your channel 3 months ago and I always get super excited when I see a notification for new content on here. Thank you very much for your service. I'm in Nigeria, and here clients rarely have staged homes but I have been putting a lot of your tips to good use with the iPhone and gimbal setup shooting mostly WIP real estate developments. I would love to see/know your approach to housing projects that are WIP/still-under-development, and how to make them seem interesting to buyers.
So cool to hear! Thanks for sharing. I would try to do the shots you would want to do later on once they're complete if you will be able to do a before/after video at some point! I think for those having someone on-camera talking about what is coming or if they have any renderings of the final look that would help the viewers' imagination get going!

Awesome video. I shoot high end real estate in Highlands NC and I'm just starting to get into video. Lifestyle is something agents want to sell. People buying houses up here are rich. Like this will be their summer house, or 2nd or 3rd so agents want to showcase their brand and what kind of lifestyle they would have living here. Now what do you charge for videos? That's the million dollar question. The video price range is all over the place around here and it's tough getting estimates

Thanks! Pretty much, unless there's not enough light and it's better to not use it and bump up the exposure. Love it for getting more color saturation on exteriors, more creative control over shiny floors/surfaces for interior photos, and controlling shine on skin in the interview setup from this vid. Do you use one??

Hey thanks! I’m still doing photos with my EOSR (original one) and prefer flash for interiors which is what I did for these examples. HDR for exteriors + drone though!

Aputure 120d ii with Aputure light dome 👌 the 300d would have been nice here to get a bit more control over the window exposure but since we were far enough away it worked out.

Thanks! For photos it’s still great, I’m still using mine for that and for BTS / UA-cam if I’m not using my phone like this video.
For client videos there’s a pretty noticeable difference in quality VS the newer cameras with clog3 and 10 bit color. But if it’s working for you, and clients are happy that’s the main thing that matters.
My bad! Didn’t answer your first question. I’m using the c70 now for all video work, just got it last month to replace my c200! So far loving it :)

I’d imagine so. It’s not very heavy!
How do you price these compared to basic video shoots?
Depends on if there is pre production involved , extra shoot days or organizing the people to be there. But usually around 1.5-2.5x the normal amount. This one the client organized all of it so it was more like 1.5x, didn’t need that much time for the extra shots.

why didnt you use the iphone like the other video you did for a real estate video?
It’s not as good as a cinema camera which is what I prefer to use for higher end client work 👌
