@@1USACitizen192 They were very good in 84 losing the AFC championship game. If they had drafted Marino in 83, Lipps would have been a HOF candidate along with maybe a couple of championships
Steelers still lost the game 37-27. It was their 3rd home loss to the chiefs since 1970. Steelers have now 5 home losses to Kansas City at home entering 2019. Pittsburgh has lost to the Chiefs at home in 1970, 81, 84, 86 and 2018. Pittsburgh has lost in Kansas City in 1971, 1993 playoffs, 1997, 1999, 2003, 2009, 2015
I actually remember watching that game and seeing that play.....wow
If Lipps had played on the 70's squad, he may go down as the best Pit receiver of all time.
I agree
He may have been 5th reciever, Jim Smith and T.Bell were better,by far. They may have let him fumble a few punts.
@@1USACitizen192 disagree with that Louis Lipps was a better receiver than Jim Smith
Well, at the very least the Steelers would have been very good in 84 on with Stallworth, Smith, and Lipps.

All true. Also true is that the Chiefs lost to the Steelers in the playoffs in 2017 on their home field.
So did the Steeler win any?
That 93 loss was a playoff game
Steelers usually defeat chefs by average of 43-1.
