The Arteon has is really a great car for Volkswagon. It has style and comfort. VW has to market this model to be a success. Not everyone likes to drive SAV/SUV!! (Over saturated SAV/SUV market).

Očekujem poplavu rabljenih 2017. godište za još 2-3 godine na našim cestama kada cijena bude do 20ak tisuća eura.
Ulazna cijena dosta niža, ali ako se zaigraš na konfiguratoru lako ode u nebo. Za ove pare kupiš Tesla model 3 Performance.

13:12 That gap where the arm rest joins the door panel looks like a problem they forgot to fix before production? For a car that costs €70k, that's pretty bad.

Good detailed review. As for the car it looks like the Military tried to copy the Mercedes CLA Shooting Brake!! ….using Lego!!!!! The only funny part is the price ha ha ha.
Confused how a flagship car such as the Arteon still has the horrible gear selector. Even Skoda have switched to the Audi mini selector?
Its not horrible, its easy and simple to use, dont fix whats not broken.
Bentley still uses big gear selector is that rubbish??
70 k ? I don't get the intention of VW for this car..Can't imagine there are many people who buy this and I don't understand the difference to a passat. I looks better from the outside, but who is paying that price, just to get a different looking combi? The look and feel inside ist just so cheap as well. Other competitors don't use any better materials, but the overall impression is way better. Same for the leather seats, they might be comfy, but look like from ikea ...I don't know something feels off.

Most beautiful VW at the time of writing, IMO. Not a fan of frameless doors because of their utter impracticality in colder climate. Also, I think it is too expensive to successfully compete with Audi A5 or A4, especially taking into account that this car is mostly a tuned up Passat from 2014.
It is what it is. Every car is an evolvement of something. Therefor I call it a non-argument when you refer to Passat 2014. Frameless doors are good looking. I had no problem with those last winter (-11 C in succeeding nights). But if you live in Canada somewhere in the north I can imagine you need a different car. But in that case you would be talking about 4WD and lots of clearance from the floor.
