Im in the same boat as Brit as far as amount of time playing Saga. I think there are many different ways to learn. Most learn through frustration. They play a simple yet difficult army to win with like Vikings or Anglo Saxons. Then one day the dice and everything start to click and they get into the game. The other way to learn is to learn through some dynamic of the game, and that ends up catching someones interest and becomes fun to learn. I tried teaching my sons how to play but they didnt like some of the restrictions of some armies...but then one day I gave them the Carolingians who can activate all over the place. They loved it and now they play.
Great idea for an episode. It's been fun bringing Brit in and getting a new player up and going.
Thanks for watching!
