Anakin: “General Grievous, you’re shorter than I expected.” Obi-Wan: “We have a job to do, Anakin, try not to upset him.” Also Obi-Wan 3 seconds later: “This time you won’t escape.”
It was a smart move cutting the score for that sequence. It wasn't necessary for the first part and was rightfully placed at the moment Grievous starts his escape and the tension ramps up
Maybe it came down to John,George and Ben Burtt who was not only the sound designer, but one of the editors who cut this movie together, and maybe the music editors who put the music in the movie. I don't know. I'm a bit of a sucker for good sound design and music and when a movie is cut well together without losing track of what is going on in every shot!
I just realized that this was the first time Anakins ever seen Grieveous face to face. crazy if you think about it cause in clone wars they have had a lot of encounters
@@anferneesuellcosplay5455 This the first time he’s met Anakin but it’s clear he’s met Obi-Wan before. This is evident with the line “And this time you won’t escape”, which suggests that Grevious has escaped Kenobi before.
This scene works much better than music, although I'd cut the cue when Artoo flies in. It heightens the tension way more when Grievous gets pissed and says "Jedi Scum" like he might actually kill them and the fight theme is an absolute bop. I don't understand why they cut it at all.
You know, separatists could avoid many problems with this simple idea. If a starship is staffed only by droids, then no oxygen would be required, therefore any living being would have a hard time on that starship.
I haven’t noticed the unused score until midway through this scene lol I was like why does this scene feel so much more dire and dramatic? It’s good! Maybe in the future they can edit this in the master editions
This scene was honestly a ton of fun after watching Clone wars season 1, though u feel like it would have been better ir we saw Grievous fight Anakin and Obi wan with his electro staff
I would presume stresses on the hull from rapid entry into the atmosphere. The Invisible Hand’s shields were offline as well and the ship had been severely damaged by the Guarlara.
The ship was heavily damaged. In the movie, we see it get shot up by the Guarlara Venator. As well, in a deleted scene, the fuel tanks had ruptured prior to the duel with Count Dooku. Essentially the ship was on the verge of falling apart for most of the time we’d seen it in the movie
Why did they have to take them to the bridge? Why not a holding cell or the brig? The Bridge is like the most vulnerable part of the ship.🙄 That said this score is not that bad although I think the they went with is better.
Brilliant how you added it back in. Fits perfectly of course because it was obviously meant for this scene.
Thanks!
Anakin: “General Grievous, you’re shorter than I expected.”
Obi-Wan: “We have a job to do, Anakin, try not to upset him.”

I love how sassy the droid commander was. "Youre welcome"

Anybody else notice the polite battle droid who tried to get around Obi-wan?
“Excuse me.”
I did, adorable lil bugger.
I feel bad about the droids and aliens running
Anakin and Obi nonchalantly cutting down defenseless droids who are trying to abandon ship.
I think the first part was removed to build up tension and John thought it would fit better in the Battle Of Utapau.
It's possible. It certainly works better than the music-stripped elevator scene.

Anakin: You underestimated my power!
Obi Wan: I say patience
Ankin: Patience, huh?

Close encounters but never saw Eachother
What’s funny is that grievous clearly meets them both for the first time in this film and that the utapau fight was supposed to their first

This piece of music was also in the Lego Star Wars TCS level Chancellor in peril, so it seems both you and Lego have cracking ideas!
Lego Star Wars: TCS used music from the film soundtracks, even if it wasn’t used in movie, though not always in the corresponding scene.
Yes
@@StarWarsOpinion The problem was fixed in TCS. The original Lego Star Wars game was the one with out of place tracks.
0:43 that droid is so polite
Obi wan: for all your expertise this doesn't seem to be a very smooth landing
The music fits perfectly well with these scene. I don't understood why George had to cut it.
Because Grievous is Anakin's father...🤣
This is pretty much the best video of all time

I came here because of the intro shots in The Bad Batch. :"D

I love how the magna guards in the scene are almost more of a challenge to Obi-Wan then general grievous was.
I love revenge of the sith

R2-D2 used thunder
It's not verry effective
B2 used kick
It's super effective

Haha😂 when General Grievous shattered the glass Palpatine was like "PLEASE I'm too weak". Palpatine's ugly laugh: HEHEHEHAHAAA.😐😑
I do wish we got to see this in the actual film, I dont know why it was dropped
