Hi, I'm Louise! I started this channel in 2010 after readers of my blog (called Sprinkle of Glitter) suggested I give UA-cam a try. I was instantly hooked and have found my internet playground on here. I make videos about plus size fashion, motherhood, lifestyle and occasionally have special guests (friends, kittens or my sweet Daughters Darcy, 11 and Pearl, 5).
I also write (book number SIX is out now!), podcast (Mother's Meeting, series 2 out now) and waffle on all over instagram.

having a kids’ club on board is actually a game changer. it’s usually so difficult to plan a trip with kids cause of non-kid friendly activities such as the spa
We’ve always cruised as a couple with P&O Cruises, but I love how perfect it is for families! The kids club that’s included, the cinema, the buffet…so good. I love how relaxed you all are both on and off the ship. The girls are going to be cruisers for life 😍🛳️

Pearl refusing to smile was just perfection 😆. We love a queen who stands her ground. I'm so happy you found a trip that works so well for you, I absolutely love cruising. I always tell everyone, they are the easiest vacations I go on.

We did that cruise with our 15 year old !!! It was wonderful and brought back some lovely memories. I think family cruising is the way to go and we’re doing 2 weeks this summer round the Med with our now 17 year old . Loved how the girls enjoyed dressing up and dining out with their parents night after night - just like us we made such fabulous memories- a truly wonderful vlog and a very true reflection of the actual experience… thanks Louise and family ❤

When I was a child I went cruising with my family. Now I'm very torn because I don't think LNG is the be-all, end-all to a more environmentally conscious cruising, especially with so many new ships being built even bigger and the added aspect of over-tourism... but I do genuinely like the mode of a cruise holiday like the amenities and vibe on board... for me personally, it's just very tricky with the current climate crisis and what seems to be even more people discovering and promoting cruises...

Yes my home town banned cruise ships recently. I live in a beautiful small port town and the cruise ship visitors would take over the town coming in a large wave off the boat at the same time and this actually took away from the atmosphere in our small city and making it not as pleasant to live in. The visitors tend to eat on the ship so local businesses were not as happy as they thought they would be. Our local marine life was badly affected also. The environmental damage and emissions from cruise ships is massive even with a switch to LNG not to mention the grey water pollution.
The Norwegian Fjords were my first ever cruise too, on a Royal Caribbean ship back in 2013. Such an unbelievably beautiful part of the world, and still the best cruise I've ever done. Your ship seems a little livelier than ours though; I'd say the average age was about 92 😂
To be honest, I thought this was going to be the same for us! I was SO surprised to find we were the average age!!!

I will say though, I was a bit sad to see you didn't say " Gorgeous girls do Stavanger!" like the first time as this was mine and my 3 year old moto on a port day back in June on the Iona to Norway 🤣🤣 Can't wait to see the rest, you and the family are great! X

We always thought we were too young to do a cruise before we had little ones, as thought it was aimed at more mature clientele, then now we have little ones, thought it might be a bit boring for them… but woohooo, this has definitely changed our minds! Made my hubby watch too and we’re sold! Wanted to also do the fjords for ages so this vlog felt made for us! Little excited to get cruising now! 😂
I'm going on a cruise in July, we went on one for our honeymoon but this time our 2year old will be joining us! Can't wait x

We stopped in Stavanger on our Disney Cruise in September and so many people came out to wave the ship goodbye, it was so sweet and emotional! We also went on those rib boats where Liam was dunking Pearl in the water! It was terrifying!

I went on this cruise ship in august.
I went to Stavanger, Olden, Haugesund and Flåm.
Flåm was my favourite (I didn’t even want to leave).
That's almost the same as us but we didn't do Flam. I loved it so much too! xxx

Looks like you all had a fantastic time. My son, who is around Darcy’s age (he will be 12 at the beginning of March) and I are going on our first cruise over Spring break in mid March. Ours will be taking us to Costa Maya Mexico, Belize, and Cozumel Mexico…..we cannot wait and are soooo excited. I am hoping this will be the start of a new way of vacationing for us. 42 days!!! (But who’s counting?! 😂😂🙋🏻♀️)

Oh my goodness Liam looks so nice all dressed up! Love that Darcy said he looks like James Bond, what a compliment! And I loooove the pink dresses the girls are wearing! I actually have issues with my leg and have been struggling with wearing heels! If you have any tips on flat dress shoes to wear I’d love it, I ended up switching to sneakers at my friends wedding. Made it work but I wish I had cute shoes!
Wide fit ballet flats are my friends. You can get some really pretty embellished ones xxx

Loved watching you experience your first cruise, we’ve been on so many but nothing compares to your first 🚢 The most relaxing and safe experience! Highly recommend NCL cruises for lots of family and kid’s activities !!

This vlog is so good. Looks like a beautiful cruise, whenever I see a cruise advert on TV I say "I'd prefer to go on a Disney Cruise." (I'm not even going to ask if you'd go on a Disney cruise because I know the answer) I do have a question, for dress-up nights what if you're not a dressy-up person? I don't like dresses or skirts. Anything tomboy-ish, tracksuits etc is a yes.
Also, you got to see 2 of my favourite dancers - Twist & Pulse, those guys are amazing. So lucky.

Louise we love cruising as a family …. Our girls are now 16 and 15 and we don’t see them for dust now on the cruise, 😢😢they have the best time and meet so many new friends. ❤

I went ijona on my first cruise but food wasn't that great, 2nd cruise went on sky princess food better but decor was for old people, 3rd cruise done MSc virtuosa ship is wow, now trying to look at something better maybe celebrity apex or NCL prima there just another level, but wow icon of the seas has hit it out of the park.

YES! So most of the food is included! You book your cabin, that covers the food costs and then you just pay a bit extra for speciality restaurants and some drinks. But places like that or the buffet are all included! xxx
