- Join me as I showcase one of the other things I collect- Calico Critters!! In 2020 I decided to create an entire village permanently set up for fall, and that started a whole new collection. I’ve always been passionate about miniatures, so this has been a fun new outlet to enjoy. I love making furniture as well, and I show you a few pieces I’ve made along with my movie theatre made from an Amazon box. Lol Fun times in mini land!
In 2020 the entire village went trick or treating, and I show some photos of that at the end of this video. It was so cute!

I’m tired of resisting this, I used to think I was going to be posh and build one of those wooden ones (too big). Or collect Department 56 or some knock off. But no, I need doors I can open and close and fuzzy critters. This is really what I want in life.
I didn’t know Playmobil was the same scale! I’ll have to keep that in mind when looking for houses for my Critters 👀
Awesome! Though some of the houses can be a bit small, I’ve found they generally work great with critters🥰

You worked in other brands so perfectly, the fall themed decorations are gorgeous, I love, love, love the school, and so many things inspired me!! The ruler desk, using background scenes from boxes, using egg crate for texture, mixing and matching Playmobil, Woodzeez, etc, I mean your creativity is next level. Scooby Doo haunted house is awesome. You did a great job with adding stone and brick to your houses, the fireplace really does look like a glow is coming off the fire and love the flowers on the ceiling! Great job!
Very cute! Love all the custom touches, details especially with your school and movie theater. Nice that you have references to fall and Halloween. We creative grownups need to play just like kids!

This is wonderful! I love how creative you got with your collection. I've been thinking about starting a collection too. I was an 80's kid, only thing I had was a Maple Town bunny. I'm almost 50 now and this looks so fun! I found plans to build a Tudor style dollhouse to put them in. I think that will be more fun for me than the plastic houses.
Fantastic. I customize my houses too! I'm thinking of putting them on lazy Suzanne's to turn them around easier

Thank you!! Yes I do too- but I’ve found some of them have very small scaling🫣😝 almost too small for critters. Have you found this to be true too?
Yes some don’t work, but they looked really good in your setup!

On 6:50 is a mouse from Barenwald of Simba toys, isn't it? they are a bit bigger than Sylvanian Families (CC), but also very lovely, I like the bears family the most from that series. Thanks for the review of your amazing collection!

Ahhh ok! That house was called western house or something like that. I bought it directly from playmobil in 2020. The tree in the back is calico critters. Not sure they still sell the house, but you may be able to find it on eBay or other sites
