Mustafar was a completely different film (Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of The Sith), Rogue One was Scarif in the scene where Vader appears. Spencer Wilding portrays the physical form of Vader during the meeting with Krennic on Scarif and on board the Star Destroyer, Daniel Naprous takes over for the scene at the end of the movie where Darth Vader uses his lightsaber.

It was all the rage in the 80s and 90s. The idea that the TV could host the game and talk to the other players was quite the innovative one and even continued a bit into the DVD era aka the early 2000s like with Trivial Pursuit Star Wars Saga Edition that came with a DVD to use.
He wore the suit 1 more time in a documentary they filmed the vader death scene with him taking the helmet off , lucas blocked it and the footage was never released but still exists
Prowse for me is really the only actor that ever looked completely natural in the Vader suit; he has every movement down to a T. Spencer Wilding as well as Christensen did great, but occasionally came across as somewhat stiff with their movements. Even in his 60’s, Prowse still had it.
The first scene in Rogue One with Vader, you would think it was Prowse! The only difference I saw was the fact that Vader walks at mostly a fast pace, Spencer under the mask should have done that. David Prowse really set a tone for the character. Even though he was an arrogant asshole in real life, he definately is Vader, thru and thru.

The "Special Editions" were a couple of years away and the prequel trilogy wouldn't begin for another four years. This was the first new footage of ANY kind we got in over a decade. Sadly, this didn't last long and the game itself ended when VHS fell out of favor.

It was an era when they really pushed the capabilities of videotapes in those days before the internet really took off.

I find it amazing you can still buy this game brand new for $30. And then watch this video and play the game. They must have made a forceload of games.
Imagine playing the part of the Admiral in the game and then having a table at an Autograph show and a fan coming up asking "I don't remember seeing your character. Which Star Wars film were you in?"

@@drawingtheways3601 It's a board game you play on a table. I don't remember the rules, but you play the video which acts as a countdown timer while you play. The video also tells you certain events that occur during the game.

In all seriousness, Watching this feels more like an ASMR but with jump-scares from those Tie Fighters & Tie Interceptors, 4th Wall breaking shenanigans of Darth Vader & The Imperial Army and stock footages of the Original Trilogy in the mix.

somehow i can take this dialouge more seriously then rouge one and the prequels.(this feels more in character with darth vader then those movies did)
