Gee whiz Rocky. You bout lost that pole again haha. I sure got some tales to tell about those kind of stringers be careful with them. They dont always stay hooked. Love the video thanks for taking us along. God bless you and yours
Rocky! What a video! I watch that video of your buddies Richard Gene using worms for bait. Looks like it works. I use sometimes a metal stringer but you might just want to try a fish basket. Works well for pan fish. Also our coach said to use the smallest bobber. You want to take that bait with the least resistance. Also for a bobber I try most of the time a clear bobber. I fill it half way with water to cast it to my target. Also using a clear bobber the fish do not get spooked as much. You still need that wash cloth! I know getting excited can land a pole in the water but that happens. As Richard would say “ Fishing is a sport second to none” .
Ive been watching Richard Gene videos for years, and i cant recall him using worms for Crappie. Not saying they dont work, obviously they are for you at that location.
Try a 1/32nd oz head with a piece of worm. Works great for both crappie and bluegill. And bluegill won't swallow the lead so therefore won't swallow the hook 🎣🎣
When I was a youngin we fished small secret ponds. Once we had a nice stringer, moved to the other side of the pond. When we were ready to leave the darn turtles destroyed our stringer!
Thanks for the comment I would have never thought of turtle’s eating the fish off a stringer ! I’ll be on the lookout for that 😀 Thanks for watching, I appreciate it 🎣🎣
I just recently found your channel, and I love it! You and Richard Gene make me want to move to the Guntersville area. I've caught a couple of small crappie on worms, but never slabs. Then again, I've never really targeted them with worms. By the way, what size hook were you using? Keep having fun, and making cool videos.
You ok brother? Noticed you ended the video right after you kicked your pole in and heard you say you might have strained something so just wanted to make sure you were ok god bless stay safe
I don't know a fish that don't like a worm thanks for taking us along
Very true
Worms will catch about any fish in the river 😀
Thanks for watching Elwood 🎣🎣
I love the way you and Richard Gene explain the process

Thank you for the video. It was great great fishing.
Thanks Frank
I appreciate you watching 🎣🎣
Catching Crappie on worms where I live is unheard of. I have been fishing for about 40 years and have caught maybe 3 or 4 Crappie on a worm.
Think I’ve bought about 10boxes of worms in the last couple of weeks 😀
Thanks for watching
I appreciate it 🎣🎣

Wish I could've seen your bobber better. Sometimes your rod tip was blocking it. But nice video and catch. Thanks.
Thanks for watching David
I tried my best to show the bobber going down. It hard to sometimes with these GoPro cameras.
