The government in California definitely needs to take notes. Who knew crack filling is so easy.
In U.S. contracts are given to private companies, in India almighty government does that and literally destroys the road in the name of repair.....

You'd like a gaping pothole or grand canyon-like trench across the road even less, let me assure you ....
The hot melted asphalt that they use on roads and commercial parking lots is 100 times better than the cold patch stuff used in this video.
Is there anyway you've seen to not see the crack lines at all besides of course repaving??
I felt oddly peaceful upon watching this and listening to the music.. There's something curiously soothing watching a crack in concrete being filled .......

So what do you want them to do? Tear up the complete drive way spending many thousands of dollars?
Fresh, warm cow flop has been determined to excel as an asphalt crack fill material. Its use is noted by a water washdown after the steaming hot flop roll-in phase. Other options include ordinary cold pour and the outrageously expensive hot asphalt repair protocols.
The had to have know that "if a finger can fit in the crack it should be filled" was really 👀👀👀
I don't get why they wash it (with what I assume is water) beforehand. Wouldn't that just trap the water inside and cause the very issues that they're trying to prevent?
This is to remove any dust and grime which prevents good adhesion of sealcoat

Just rip up the length of road, compact it more, then lay a new base coat and top surface. The cracks will reappear despite the sealing. Winters and summers will split the seal over a short period of time and you're back to square one. Best to fully resurface the length of road.

Looks like you're using Nairobi trail markers to seal that crack.
The most dangerous thing you can place on someplace that you walk or ride.Once wet it's extremely slippery

Ah yes a superficial patch that doesnt penetrate deep down and actuakly fix the crack, good job with out tax dollars
In germany they use liquid asphalt (without any sand / fillers). It works decent enough as far as I've seen them on the roads.
But yeah, the way they do it on this video is pointless.

Don't use cracks with Asphalt. Purchase original version. True racers never use cracks
