Rocketscience is easy, I'll use that module on a daily. But cropping, geez. That's way too much..
Another great short video reminding me to use more than my modules i'm used to👍

I hate to say this but. You have a ton of quality videos but you dont get the recognition you deserve.
Id suggest to try out playing with thumbnail design a bit. Maybe a thad more saturation and constrast could do the trick, maybe different ways of using text.
I dont know, its personal and a struggle for everyone.
Also lol dont let this discourage you man! Your content deserves a lot more attention.
Just trying to think with you on this one :)

Thanks @Sawer. Yes, it is indeed a bit of work to get attention and subscribers, especially now that UA-cam is so saturated with content. I appreciate your thoughtful comment. It's flattering to think that you think that my channel deserves more recognition. I will definitely keep your suggestions in mind and if you have any others, I would certainly be open to hearing them!
I just reached 1000 subs not long ago so that was a big milestone for me haha!

was cropping really a feature that was just added? I like on1 Ai selection tool, makes making masks much easier compared to what's needed in darktable

It wasn't just added. But the cropping one was just a joke. And I hate AI.

Hey Jason, appreciate the video... not understanding how the colorize module works though... found nothing on youtube... Could you please help? Thanks

The colorize module changes every color in your photo to a single color. The best way to experiment with it is turn it on, select a color, and then select "uniform blending" (it's the circle icon) and select a small percentage, say 4%. That will add a tint to your photo.

Nearly all the modules you mention are display referred modules. I thought they were effectively deprecated when using a scene referred workflow? (genuine question)

Except for the tone curve (which has the RGB curve analogue), I don't think there are any analogues for the modules in the video. For example, what would replace the contrast equalizer or the split toning module?

@@WildEarthPhoto Color Balance RGB does a lot of the work of Contrast Brightness Saturation and Split toning. Tone Equalizer might do some of the work of Contrast Equalizer but Contrast Equalizer is still the GOAT for that

They are indeed display-referred and should mostly be avoided. The exception being color zones which currently doesn't have a proper replacement.
