I'm half polish and I've been in Poland many times so i know how often the nation is close minded about many things (some years ago they have created some gay free zones, nazi shit). I can remember that in cracow in 2018 i could only count two men not having east European faces (they were black indeed). So if you are not afraid of speaking it out loud I'm interested in listening your experience in this clash of two cultures. How do you perceive your surrounding? What do you really think of the ppl you see around? How you think you are perceived from polish people? Is the alcohol issue in Poland similar to what we can find in Korea? How much the far right government can be felt as a non east-European looking foreigner? Et caetera... I've seen that you already tasted some good dishes! That's really clever of you because they can cook really well! Sometimes things can be a little too fatty but once in a while that's not a big of an issue. I really like your way to do vlog so KEEP GOING YOU ARE DOING GREAT! ❤ Also if you want some nice non touristy souvenirs I recommend buying some amber! The baltic sea's waves bring so much of it on the seasides so is really common to see some jewelers with necklaces/bracelets made with it but look out for scams!
As of last Sunday's elections the far right populist government will soon no longer be an issue. And those infamous gay free zones, as creepy as they sounded, didn't really do anything. There are really many more people of colour in Poland today than there were in the past. Come and see for yourself!
